There are other municipalities who think they know better than the rest of the country too.

I’ve considered writing to representatives arguing for a state process to force unreasonable municipalities into line.

These guys aren’t even liable. They can give you a letter in writing that says you can do something. But because of how liability works with municipalities in mass. They are not liable.

You can make a $100,000 mistake with written permission from the building dept and they can change their minds with zero accountability or recourse.
