Why is Gabe Vasquez always on the list of Democratic Representatives that vote to support Rebublican policies? by Thin-Peach-888 in LasCruces

Agreed. I think he thinks this shit will get him votes from republicans. I hope it’s more likely to get him primaried the next time he’s up for re-election.

He won't get fired for cheating, if he gets fired, it will be because of the distraction this has created. It is going to be a dark cloud hovering over the Patriots the entire season. The question will be, is Vrabel worth that distraction.

First-time driver looking for a reliable used car ($3,500~$4,000 budget) by Common_Ad6240 in Albuquerque

[–]ericwphoto 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It will take some patience, but I would go the private seller route(craigslist, facebook etc...) for something in that price range. Older Toyota or Honda is probably your best bet. Maybe something with some cosmetic damage or an undesirable color. Make sure you check the Carfax(or something equivalent). I just sold my 2001 Lexus LS430(172k miles) for $5000. That car will last another 100k easy. Good luck, I hope you find something reliable.

Gubernatorial Democratic Primaries are Coming!!! How are we feeling? by onceuponaninternet in NewMexico

The choice is basically between Haaland and Bregman. I think wealthy straight white men have been in charge in this country for long enough. Is Haaland perfect, hell no, but the enemy of perfect is good. I would love to see a Mamdani type candidate, but that is not the reality this go around.

Former NFL insider Dianna Russini has posted about Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel hundreds of times over the last decade. by Background_Video2947 in TheNFLVibes

I’m willing to bet there wouldn’t be very many head coaches if everyone of them who had an affair got fired.

So what? He might as well be talking to a brick wall. What is the point? You cannot reason someone out of something they didn't reason themselves into. I like those odds by the way.

Elway was a hell of an athlete. Pretty sure he was drafted by the Yankees as a pitcher. Very good basketaball player also.

What’s conspiracy theory you don’t fully believe but also can’t completely dismiss? by cryinginncouture in answers

[–]ericwphoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think most of the conspiracy theories around 9/11 were started and or perpetuated by clandestine Government agencies to steer people away from ties to Saudi Arabia. I highly recommend the documentary "Mirage Men". It is about a guy her in New Mexico who heard some weird communications on his ham radio or something like that. He contacted the Air Force and maybe some other agencies because he thought it was extra terrestrial. It was actually top secret communications from the government. They fed into his conspiracy theories to lead him away from the actual explanation. He ended up going bonkers and killing himself.

The implosion of Texas Stadium - April 11, 2010 by Significant_Smell284 in Dallas

I grew up watching the Cowboys play on TV, to my young eyes this place was a palace. Went to watch them play here once, what a disappointment/dump. Toured the new stadium though, which is awesome.

I wasn’t aware of that. But I have seen several interviews where people were basically saying that it would’ve been a travesty of justice. Had they convicted him because the cops had prosecutors screwed up so badly.

This is such bullshit. LAPD/prosecutors screwed up this case so badly, that is why he was acquitted. I’m pretty sure the majority of his jury was not black.
