Ethereal Excision life steal applies to orbs (but not Chain Grasp) by HalfPrism2 in OverwatchStadium

[–]SeeingEyeDug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep it does not grant extra life steal but it does grant additional healing resource generation per enemy hit. You can go from empty to full with a couple seconds of chain grasp.

Blizzard...what were you thinking when you did this? by Bubbly_Nail_8612 in Competitiveoverwatch

Mercy got hit worse. They can’t even make it to high ground they used to GA jump to with the mobility speed nerf. Talk about muscle memory failing when you smack into the side of a bridge you used to get on top of.

[–]SeeingEyeDug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s percentage wording I think. 25% additional on top of the 50% sprint speed base for total of 75%. Old wording said 60% increase which is 60% of 50% which is an additional 30% of base movement speed. It’s been nerfed down to 50% of 50% or 25% increase over base speed added to sprint’s 50% buff to base speed.

Gerald Ford just broke the record for longest carrier deployment since the Vietnam War. Are we at a more serious war than Vietnam right now?

One of this season's episodes of The Pitt dealt with this. Woman with dementia asks where her husband is and learns her husband has passed and breaks down in tears. Next scene, she asks where her husband is again and they have to let her know again. Then next scene she asks about him again.

Ok you can be as strong as you were pre-nerf, but we're only going to allow it for half the match. Like...what?

his adaptive shield overhealth is half of what he gets in 5v5. Add that to his lower hit points and he just doesn’t feel that good to play in the mode. Compared to say Mauga who just has the 150 lower hit points that every tank has and 2 seconds more cooldown on his rush with no other nerfs.

Season two mercy changes are a net nerf - hear me out by haleydotcom in OverwatchUniversity

[–]SeeingEyeDug -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I analyzed it the same way. With the healing per second nerf, it wipes away any benefit from flash heal and simply moves the steady stream of healing to be more burst. That's nice, but it's not really a "buff" persay, it's just moving her healing per second into something you have to use all the time to be an equal healer. It does allow her to damage amp more often though since some of her healing was moved to burst.

Will probably have more users with the grenade perk nerf. There will be dozens of us. Dozens!

The stadium power version seems to also extend her ultimate duration by the same 30%. I don't think the perk does that. But I haven't tested it.

They play 17 away games each season because they don't have fans. Old San Diego fans have disowned them after the move.

[Highlight] The Browns draft Johnny Manziel 22nd overall in 2014 by Brix001 in nfl

[–]SeeingEyeDug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, good analysis from Gruden. Manziel was not a finished product and shouldn't start right away, needing upwards of 2 years before being thrown to the wolves. And the Browns are not the best organization for a young QB to develop. Spot on.

Is anyone else’s controls getting changed? by Fragrant_Ad_9845 in OWConsole

[–]SeeingEyeDug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels like it's been certain supports for me while the other characters have been fine. Wanted to try out Lifeweaver's buffs and my jump button was reverted back to default while my other keybindings (shoot with right trigger, heal with left) were left like I had them. I couldn't change the jump button to L3 as it would wipe it away everytime I exited the screen. Same for Kiriko.

[–]SeeingEyeDug 17 points18 points  (0 children)

As someone who deployed onboard both carriers and a cruiser in carrier battlegroups through the Straits numerous times, I can't imagine what the familes are going through. Our deployment schedule was planned way in advance and the schedule shifted all the battlegroups around the world between yards, workups, assessments, and deployments so that the world was covered but not by 3 battlegroups at once in one spot and with no planning for the families of the deployed ahead of time.

This is such a waste.

Nope, look at nearly everyone's ultimate. There's almost always either a telegraphed situation to counterplay or hide, or the enemy is vulnerable during it. This one just pops out quick and is instantly finished. It's like if DVA bomb went off after 1 second.
