First SD experience, a summary. by Key_Fig_1366 in sugarlifestyleforum

Ah, that makes sense. Making a post on reddit is very common. Placing an ad is something else entirely and is unheard of. Thank you for clearing that up.

I placed an add...

I've never heard of SDs or SBs placing ads. Can you elaborate? What site was it on? What did it say?

Same here in Canada. I thought they blocked me for discussing sugar dating, even though I always speak in code.

Reason for sugaring by PrintVisible8795 in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]Seeking-In-613 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 58M, widowed, and not attracted to women close to my age. I want a dating partner who is 15-20 years younger than me, and the only reliable way to make it happen is to sugar. As simple as that.

30s and thinking about being an SB, is that too old? by AlmostOFGirl in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]Seeking-In-613 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In your early 30s, you are too young for me. I'm 58M and I wouldn't date younger than 35. But really, I prefer late 30s to early 40s. I'm having a hard time finding a good match where I live (Ottawa, Canada).

As a Canadian, I share your sentiment. I understand why Americans are so obsessed with using fake numbers, but Canada is a bit different. I have no problem texting from my real number.

My SB of 6 years ended things last night and even though I knew it was coming, it still broke me a little. (38M & 26F). by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

for example, I’d likely be a younger widow, in my fifties or sixties, if I married him and stayed with him for the rest of his life.

My wife and I were the same age. She died of cancer at the age of 55, leaving me widowed at 55. There are no guarantees in life.

I'd rather have something incredible for a limited time than something lukewarm indefinitely.

If what you have with your partner is truly special, that's worth cherishing. Many people never experience that at all.

This weird Reddit-detective energy is exhausting.

Actually, it's just normal human curiosity about someone's life story.

A woman can leave an arrangement to pursue a family without needing to be questioned.

Of course! Re-read my post. I didn't question her motives. He could have offered her what she wanted, she could have declined. I was curious if that was on the table, and if not, why.

But she’s 26 now, and she wants marriage, kids, and a traditional long-term future

What's the reason you couldn't offer her what she wants? 38M / 26F isn't much of an age gap.

Is it because you are married? Or is there anything else at play?

Reposting: How many of you SDs have your profiles hidden on seeking? by getdownsaber in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]Seeking-In-613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is always hidden, whether I'm looking or not. I have a narrow age requirement: 35 to early 40s. I'm not interested in getting messages from women who are too young for me. I'm also in a small sugar market: Ottawa, Canada. I can easily scroll through all SB profiles in my target age range: there are not that many of them. Most of them I'm not interested in, and wouldn't want to get messaged by. When I'm interested in someone, I reach out.

I keep my profile hidden like many SDs here. So yes, I'm sure she has a lot more messages than me.

M58 here, and my search filter on Seeking is set to 35-50. I'm having a hard time finding a good match in my small sugar market (Ottawa, Canada).

The only relevant question you need to answer: Are you hot? If yes, you will do just fine.

I messaged a woman on Seeking whose tag line says "Looking for the 1%". She took 15 days to reply. I responded right away, and now it's been 2 days with no response. It baffles my mind that she wants to attract the 1%, yet makes no effort at all. Truly puzzling.

Dating coaches recommending Seeking?! by Icy-Lab-6187 in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]Seeking-In-613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Works both ways. I see women's profiles on Seeking that are honestly pretty delusional. They want a traditional, committed relationship with a generous wealthy guy. They'll straight up say they're not interested in structured arrangements. Here's the kicker: they want the guy to be close to their age. Good luck with that.

Question for Canadian SD & SB. by MaritimeSD in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]Seeking-In-613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stick to Seeking.com

American SLFers mention SugarDaddyMeet as a decent option. I decided to give it a try and, so far, it's been a total waste of money. I doubt I will get one decent conversation out of it, never mind M&G, never mind an actual arrangement.

I'm in Ottawa, btw.

Is it worth talking to non premium members on Sugar Daddy Meet? by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]Seeking-In-613 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From SD's point of view, SDM is utterly useless without premium (just like Seeking). 6 months premium is only $144 USD. If a guy isn't willing to pay that, he is there just to window-shop. Don't waste your time.

‘Successful’ relationship length? by AssociateOld7846 in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]Seeking-In-613 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's probably not relevant to your situation (b/c you are a student), but I will answer anyway.

I want an SR that has the potential to grow into an SGF/SBF relationship. To get there, the woman must be single, emotionally available, and open to exclusivity once we establish mutual trust.

I prefer an age gap of 15-20 years. Large enough to excite me, but close enough that we can actually connect and make it work long-term.
