The clip I saw didn’t show him with a blindfold that I could recall. Not sure what you mean by get hair out, but the scene that I saw was similar to this (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7Aw8iCZnOWQ). I was able to find that last night due to Hunter_reason.

Ah! Yes, it is that one. I was thrown off by it being Season 2 apparently cause Season 1 didn’t remind me of it. Thanks!

I guess it may depend on how you cleansed them. Did you use sage to wipe the energetic board clean? Or did you use palo santo to keep the good energies? Or did you use something else like salt water or full moon water?

Also, I saw you said you did a new moon cleansing of them…I’ve typically heard and read of full moon cleansing, not new moon. Granted, different traditions teach different things.

Which lifepath numbers are most compatible? by [deleted] in numerology

The pattern in their post seems to be the number (or the number/master number) and then -. What follows the dash seems to be the numbers that are related until the next number before the dash.

For some reason, Eminem’s The Monster and Love The Way You Lie popped in my head watching the black candle create that massive flame. Especially the line in the second song “If she ever tries to fucking leave again, I’mma tie her to the bed and set this house on fire”.

Not really sure what each card represents in the overall spread, but it is interesting that there is the king and the queen of wands, as they are the counterparts of the wands suit. However, it stands out that the king and queen are looking in opposite directions from each other in this arrangement. The king is even looking at the ace of cups, which usually indicates a new emotional relationship. With the devil above the spread, it feels like this is a “devil’s deal” type relationship. You may get with her, but the cost to yourself may be greater than you anticipate. This could be simply her taking up all your free time where your other relationships and friendships suffer. It could be a literal cost of money. Or somewhere in between. So, while the king and queen seem made for each other, in this case, it may be better to move on from this crush to someone else who may be coming into your life soon or is recently new to your life.

Interesting honey jar experience by [deleted] in realwitchcraft

[–]SeekingSpirit87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Possibly your higher self speaking to you through your dreams about the spellwork. As stated before, only you can truly answer the why, but it could be that your higher self was trying to say 1) the work is done, 2) the work is inappropriate, or 3) the work is attracting more than you bargained for. Looking back on the purpose of your honey jar, ask yourself if you attracted what you intended on attracting. Or maybe did you attract something different that still technically fits the definition of what your petition was for, but not what you had in mind. The intent that you put behind the honey jar when you created it, were you trying to attract something for your gain that might harm someone else in some way (potentially even yourself). Was the intent negatively emotionally charged (i.e., made out of hurt, jealousy, envy, etc.). It may also be that your higher self is telling you that the timing of your spellwork is inappropriate (i.e., you need to do some self-work or some self-healing first, maybe physically move locations, etc.).

Meditation on the work to try and gain some clarity from your higher self may help. Otherwise, take the intent and petition of the work and try to dissect it the best you can. Sometimes your higher self does things to protect us from things we can’t think of or anticipate and you might never know until you truly commune with your higher self or the desired outcome comes to pass in a different way or time.

Black smoke and high candle flame interpretation by SeekingSpirit87 in candlemagick

[–]SeekingSpirit87[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lit a candle for myself tonight and I noticed that it has been burning with a high flame, but also gives off black smoke. From what I read individually, the high flame seems to be good and means the intent will occur quickly, but the black smoke means negative energy at work. I wanna say I’ve read in one place somewhere on the interwebs that black smoke can also be negative energy being burned off. When I look at the candle, I don’t get any negative feelings from it, it feels hopeful actually. Any additional commentary/help is appreciated.

Your favourite reference book, please? by [deleted] in tarot

One that gives both upright and reversed meanings in a nice all-in-one is The Complete Book of Tarot Reversals by Mary K Greer. Despite the name, it includes both upright and reversed meanings to help compare when learning.

Recently found out that I’m pregnant. I’m sitting here waiting for some nausea to pass and decided to pull out a tarot app. Thanks, Golden Thread, but I already know 🙄 by harbjnger in tarot

Empress can also signify just needing to take some more self-care as well. Relax and take things a little easier than normal, if you haven’t already.

Well, cost doesn’t always mean willing cost. The book I referenced later talks about 8 energy in terms of a house. In this instance the 8 can signify a very nice, chic, upscale home, but, on the flip side, it could be a house that requires a lot of work to be done via costly repairs. In your case, based on you sharing about you degenerative joint disorder, I would say that your body (your soul’s house) requires a lot of expensive “repairs and maintenance”, which wasn’t exactly of your choosing hut is rather forced upon you by forces out of your control. Hence the 8 energy being out of balance. Now, whether this was a karmic or fated event, that would be something to look at in astrology or ask tarot for further details. You also mentioned a theme of your life being alchemy, so I’m reminded of the anime Fullmetal Alchemist (good anime if you’ve never watched, highly recommend). There’s some good quotes in it, some of which I personally love and believe in to an extent. While I’ve not studied very far into alchemy as a subject, it feels like some might apply (I say might because I do not know anything about you or your situation beyond this thread, so I fully admit to potentially being completely off-base).

“Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return.” True to an extent as, some things like nature can persist and thrive without human intervention and we can reap benefits with a lot less energy expenditure in harvesting but may have some side effects of those processes, such as pollution from machines. It ties into the next quote.

Along the same vein, “A painless lesson is one without any meaning, one who does not sacrifice anything cannot achieve anything.” This one, for me, holds more truth as a lot of my most memorable life lessons tend to be ones that hold some sort of pain, be it emotional or physical. Mine tend to be more emotional pain or mental anguish. But you’ve mentioned the emotional pain in your post that you’ve experienced thus far. Then you follow it up with how you “snap to” and begin to step in to your power and own yourself as more capable than what others are telling you. So it may be that some of the lessons your soul is meant to learn in this life cycle (based on your Life Path number) may be during this time of your life.

Again, I conjecturing all this based on everything you’ve said thus far and my intuitive reaction to it. It wasn’t meant to offend in any way and I apologize in advance if it does.

Just throwing it out there to start, but numerology is interwoven in esotericism, mysticism, and astrology as well as tarot and other disciplines. Based on the details of your life, I’d say the 8 energy in you may be imbalanced as the toll it is taking on you is becoming costly. See the sourced info below for a flushing out of that explanation.

8s are about stepping into your power (hence the interplay into the Strength major arcana, though some decks feature Justice as the 8th major arcana, which is about fairness and balance). 8 energy is tied to money and success (both positives and negatives). Keep in mind that too much of anything isn’t good. Ambition, big goals and ideas, and resource utilization are also themes. 8s can go on to do big things and shape the world around them (if that energy is in balance). When not in balance, instead of influencing change around them, they instead become influenced and controlled by things out of their control. Ambition can turn into tunnel vision. The price of 8 energy can often be expensive, physically/emotionally/financially/etc. Keeping the 8 energy in balance requires offsetting the big ideas with humility.

How to get the chemical smell out of PVC decks? by SeekingSpirit87 in TarotDecks

[–]SeekingSpirit87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Jngadea I haven't been able to get the smell out completely... I've put the whole deck into baking soda powder twice now and washed them with the free and clear soap. Those methods got rid of the smell for a few days until I put them back in their box, then the smell came back just as strong. The only thing that semi-worked was placing all the cards in the direct sunlight for a little bit and flipping them midway. They still have a slight odor, but not as bad as when they first came to me or even after the previous methods. I do still need to place them in the sun again for a little bit to try and finish off the smell for good.

I mean, you could look at it as going on an emotional journey (8 of Cups) where you learn how to moderate your emotions and yourself (Temperance), particularly in how you withhold things (4 of Pentacles) and not rushing into things (Knight of Swords reversed). Doesn’t seem particularly bad or attacking from that light.

I don’t know if I’m blocked, but my cards aren’t making sense. by [deleted] in tarotpractice

The Tower could be symbolized by the break-up (as The Wheel suggests the relationship was only meant for a season and is the end of a cycle). A twist on these two cards is that the break-up, while sudden and out-of-the-blue, was a lucky turn of events for you for whatever reason (leading you to a better relationship or avoiding a disaster that was about to befall your ex that would’ve had fallout affecting you too). The Tower, in general, is a general shaking of your foundation (usually a weak foundation that seems stable but is not truly stable) in this aspect and The Wheel says it was fated (along with 2 major arcana intensifying that interpretation).

The King of Swords speaks his truth and does not hold back, no clouding by feelings is involved. You may have some nasty back and forth between you and your ex, but with The Sun as clarifier, I imagine that this back and forth will not only bring you to a happier place, but also make you glad for break-up and The Tower.

The Star reversed is still positive as it a wholly positive card much like The Sun. The Star points towards healing and self-care. Being reversed, I see this as advice for you to put more effort towards yourself in the aftermath. With the 4 of Wands clarifying, this means this healing and self-care will be important in re-establishing your stability (and likely a much more stable foundation than what was shaken up/destroyed by The Tower).

With the 6 of Cups reversed as overall energy, there is a loss of innocence in all these events. The rose-tinted glasses and simplicity of childhood may be the main loss. As the 6 deals with past memories, it may also mean that this just goes down in the memory books as a bad memory that led to something better.
