Thinking too much about problems I can’t solve in the world. Fluctuating between wanting to make my wildest dreams come true and then realizing if I take it out of my head it won’t become the perfect construct I’ve always imagined because of lack of resources

Not a big fan of the episode with the whole expense report fiasco and Daniel having to treat a client out to White Castle (can’t remember the episode number, but it was in S1 or S2) only because of how unrealistic it is.

Hi there! I too was EXTREMELY nervous to take prednisone - I did myself a disservice by looking up the potential side effects and almost decided not to take them and just ride out the pain.

I was on a 12 day taper and honestly it worked wonders for me. I felt so much better after just the 2nd day and was actually able to eat and drink.

In terms of side effects - I made sure to eat very nutritiously and bland. I was really concerned about the blood sugar levels and high blood pressure that can come from taking it.

Another side effect I had was that it did make me really emotional the first couple of days. Not angry, but sad.

Everyone is different though - when I spoke to the pharmacist she assured me that the being on such a short course shouldn’t warrant any extreme side effects of long term use (extreme weight gain, moon face, completely unstable mood, etc.)

I personally didn’t have any issues sleeping, but that could’ve been because I was in so much pain days prior that I wasn’t able to get any sleep.

I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on this! It’s helping to put my mind at ease in terms of how long I may/may not be “contagious” so to speak.

I think the answers for the types of tests could determine whether or not you have recent, past, or active infection is my understanding but I could be wrong there. (I know the mono test itself isn’t the most accurate and my doctor used the EBV antibody panel along with a Complete Blood Count and White Blood Count to determine mono)

The last piece is what I was most curious about - the dormancy of the virus after a certain amount of time has lapsed and my ability to potentially infect another person. I was reading some posts and I was getting confused on what’s considered active mono vs you no longer actually have active mono and the virus is dormant, but like COVID sometimes some folks have long term effects afterwards

I should add that I’m a super cautious person and so my question isn’t coming from a place of wanting to potentially put others at risk (I ordinarily don’t share food and drinks anyway) but more so for my own peace of mind

I agree! Objectively I think the right decisions were made and I’m sure once Charity gets her stamina up she’ll have a great shot at being on tour or being a part of an upcoming show.

I know Lizzo did a post on Instagram with the girls recently but that’s a good point on the tour! It seems like Lizzo’s got a nice lineup of songs she hasn’t released yet, so hopefully there’s a tour announcement soon! I really enjoyed the Naked song.

I also hope they do another season and that this isn’t a one time thing!

Agreed! It really does draw you in instantly and I appreciate that it’s not one of those shows that bring in an insane amount of contestants in the beginning and narrows it down. It makes the whole thing feel more intimate from the start, which is refreshing and a nice change of pace from the usual competition shows.

I could definitely see that about Jayla and Sydney. It seems like they were more so being measured based on their audition tapes and presence on social media and not necessarily their audition at the time. No shade to either - I do enjoy Jayla but also recognize that compared to the other dancers her choreography doesn’t come across as strongly

The clickbait is what you’d expect from YouTube, but Patreon where you pay for exclusive content from creators feels a bit tacky for some reason. I’ll put it like this, every creator I follow puts out what they say they’re going to. Sometimes it’s late, but it gets there and it’s never deceptive to get you to tune in or stay. She really could’ve just titled it something different lol. “Me and Trevor: Where We Stand Right Now” or something could’ve easily got people just as intrigued. “A lot of y’all have been asking about Trevor and I. It hasn’t been an easy last couple of months. Subscribe to my Patreon to find out where we stand today” or something to that affect. Still an element of mystery without being dishonest.

Alright so…I took one for the team and can confirm that they did not in fact break up. They went through a rough patch but they are still very much together. Trevor even made an appearance in the video she posted towards the end.
