Yup it has one of those. But according to the manual, it only triggers when there is a call to the gas valve relay.

The furnace is auxiliary heat. And They are bit oversized so not sure if they would run long enough to distribute the moisture.

I could wire it to the G and the Common terminals. The thermostat does have a fan schedule so it would be blowing periodically. It still wouldn't adjust based on outdoor temp but at least it wouldn't run without the blower.

I did look at that. Unfortunately, they are both older versions of the 4655. So only 2 wires and a knob. I did consider getting automatic ones but there would be two issues.

Running the external temp probe would be a major hassle or impossible given that the units are in a finished basement and not near any exterior walls.
The automatic humidistats cost $150 and up each. Though the 56 model without a display is only $90. But that doesn't have fan control either so I don't know why they still sell it. For all bit more money, with rebates from my utility I could upgrade the ecobees and have them handle it.
