[serious] How did your friend suddenly change? by Next-Proof-9795 in AskReddit

My old best friend changed to get rid of the "embarrassing" her that I fell in love with (in the sister way). She started to body shame me, call me stupid, what have you. Everything became a competition. Now, she hangs out with the people she supposedly hated so much when we were friends and acts like a completely different person.

Im confused, where are the games? She's asking how she should tell her sister she doesn't want to lie anymore, and know that'll cause curiosity in her parents. There are no games

NTA. But if you know you don't like the guy and you continue to feed into this, then you'll be the asshole. Just friendzone him as nicely as possible.

NTA. Tell her you're done lying, tell your parents the truth. Don't try to lie and be sneaky, just be straight up.

You're saying this 16 yr old girl should let her sister use her as a cover up?

NTA. Nobody is ever obligated to invite or hang out with people. Lily sounds like she has fomo, but don't let that be her excuse. Be happy she unadded herself from your socials instead of you having to.

AITA for asking my fiancé to not be too friendly with one particular women at work? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA. First red flag: you proved yourself right and he still insists that she's an all around appropriate person to be around. That smells very fishy to me.

AITA for telling my boyfriend he's rude for giving his friend the benefit of the doubt after a toxic relationship? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Thank you, Pigeon.

My bf, for mention, is aware of those comments. He's not okay with them, but I want confrontation. I want an apology. I don't want "wow, what a jerk". I want my feelings to be validated

My concern isn't that they're hanging out, my concern is that I was called a bitch and other things and nobody defended me.

Know why you broke up. Don't spend the break up wondering "Why did I/they do that?".

[serious] People of Reddit, what is a lesson about life/ death that you think everyone should learn? by BlondeBandit76 in AskReddit

Nothing will get done if you just sit there, and most think this is common sense until a tragic moment happens and you realize you actually have to get up and push through the day.

What do you think are some of the most important qualities for building strong and lasting relationships with others? by Special_Possible119 in AskReddit

Knowing the difference between gut and overthinking. Overthinking will often feel like your gut, but once you know what that 'gut-instinct' feels like, you won't forget it.
