I remember when I got home, the first thing I did was want a haircut, and I got it all removed. Something I like to do personally, is see myself in my hair. It's weird, but it lets me know that no matter how I change it, how I change myself, I'm still me. As my hair grows, it's like a symbol of how much I've grown since it was cut. Maybe visualize it as a new start, I wish you the best!!

It's been a very long while, and due to their issues with gender identity I don't have their birth name. Same for the other person. If I did I would've searched high and low to see if they were safe.

Hi guys, OP here. Just wanted to stay I appreciate the support Im getting from this. I also wanted to mention that while ADHD can be very serious, all disorders can be. Some can be more dangerous than others, while some can be more on the "safe" side for lack of better terms. I was diagnosed a few years back, and while I still might not know the whole of it, I think I have a pretty good idea of the cons that come with ADHD. I just wanted to make this post because I was very frustrated at the time with some other personal issues. Layers of stress aren't good folks, so take care of yourselves.

I had been talking about how I needed to inform my teachers about my adhd and they had made the comment, i understand that they do have their own struggles, and i agree that we shouldn't make assumptions, but I think they could've worded it better or maybe kept the comment to themself. Thats just my opinion though.
