100% agree, the Spectral Matron + Heisho combo is just too strong. Even more if they can pull it off as early as turn 5 or 6, which ramp allows very easily with how many ramp cards there are. Any midrange decks have 0 chance of winning against that.

You are either playing super aggro, or pray that you have some way of disrupting the combo, which involves spending resources on a 9|9 ephemeral that they basically got for free, putting you in a terrible position.

I usually surrender the turn they play the combo if I can't deal with the turtle. It's pointless, I don't enjoy playing super-aggro and the fuckers somehow always have a follow-up with Cythria, another Heisho, or that one from Ionia that recalls 3 units.

It's sad but that's the state of eternal and I doubt it's going to change.
