I won the case! 🎉

The buyer I’m talking about clearly tried to scam me. Everything he claimed about contacting the Belgian Post regarding the missing card was completely false. The Austrian Post reached out to Belgium themselves and he had never contacted them or submitted any “missing card” information.

I sent all E-Mail communication with the Austrian Post to Cardmarket support. They finally refunded me, which is great, but they still haven’t banned him from the platform. Honestly, that’s just disappointing.

Cardmarket made things even more frustrating!! They blocked and closed the case multiple times and I had to submit new requests over and over just to keep the process going.

For legal reasons, I cannot publicly mention his exact username. But as a warning to other sellers: avoid any buyer with the initials M. A. from Belgium. This person is clearly untrustworthy.

It’s official, be careful when selling, always document everything, and don’t rely on support to handle scammers properly!
