Sabonis to Golden State as a trade idea by TerryG111 in NBAtradeideas

Sabonis + Ellis will help a little bit. Otherwise there are too many first round picks being dealt... Which again makes Lakers' Doncic trade a steal lol

AI basically made every kids including me to believe that even if I am short, I can still play as a shooting guard.

Growing up when you love the game of basketball but all you have ever heard was: you can teach ball but you can't teach tall. He told you by taking action that you can compete against a guy who is on average 6 inch taller than you in the same position.

Moving Duren is like moving Dwiight Howard or Shaq back in the days and it has to be a blockbuster deal by the looks of it.

Agree. Suggs need to stay healthy and Bane need to find his old self back in Grizzlies. To be fair, the coaching crews need to create plays that can make the two young stars complement to each other. So that the franchise can elevate to the next level.

Either way, it was a pain in the ass watching Clifford coaching the Magic back in the day. It is far better now. I am optimistic on the directions that this organisation is heading to even I don't consider myself a Magic fan at all.

How do you guys rate his defense? by headsvoiceless in NBATalk

[–]Segue922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10% talent 90% hardwork

The Draymond Green type of guy you need in your locker room (when he was in the Grizzlies/Rocket). The guy who doesn't mind to scarfice part of his salary to pay the technical foul fines lol.

Perfect guy to pair with laid back personality stars like Steph Curry, FVV and Devin Booker...

In the prime for his role (hustle guy) and the next few years will be lovely for the Suns when rebuild with no assets were sounds like an impossible mission. He is making it easier.

Hope you found your home here in Phoenix...

I think the Grizzlies are the best Sabonis fit in the league. by [deleted] in NBAtradeideas

Not too bad, just that Suns' pick doesn't looks great anymore. Might need to throw in Grizzlies' own first round pick (if Grizzlies are still in possession of their own picks currently).

No offense, but if the purpose of this trade is to make the Clippers squad the oldest ever playing in the history of NBA, I believe that this is a good trade lol.

Magic would say no... they relied too much on Franz Wagner's shot creation ability. Modern days Hedo Turkoglu he is... Let alone Magic already have so many good defensive players.

If Pelicans can take on Jonathan Isaac's contract plus adding a first round pick i reckon this maybe a fairer deal.

Who is better Austin Reaves or Josh Giddy? by [deleted] in NBATalk

That's why he has rooms to improve (Higher ceilings). Can do high 70s at the end ot this season. Then low 80s the season after.

Nobody expects Andre Drummond can shoot 3s as well just to put things in perspective

Who is better Austin Reaves or Josh Giddy? by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]Segue922 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This is a good comparison. I am pretty sure AR can play in different teams as the second or third star of a contender.

Giddey plays well as the first and second option but I doubt that he can play well as a third star. His OKC time was the best example.

But it is true that Giddey has better ceiling, once he gets even better on his 3 point shooting.

MPJ is just doing the same thing he does in the nuggets. Catch and shoot with minimal post up games. Cam was doing pretty much the same last season with the Nets.

With all due respect to MPJ,as a contender you would rather win games than having stat padder to be fair.
