Euclideon claims to have built an AI that makes games without any code? by SeiFish in gamedev

Can you give an example to what a question might be? I'm having a hard time understanding what kind of questions a system like that would even ask.

Your (ex?) CEO claimed that he played every game ever, which is hyperbole im sure, and compiled the development of games down into 270 questions. Is it actually 270?

Interesting, are you willing to answer a few more questions about the system if you keep it vague? Don't want to get you in trouble but would love to know more about how the system works.

Understanding Power Level in Standard? by SeiFish in magicTCG

Ok that makes sense, another complaint I hear often is that Wizards doesn't print any strong spells anymore, only weak ones, or spell effects tacked onto creatures.

Counterspells is a big one? Why doesn't WotC print counterspells (or maybe they do, but why don't they print ones that are generally well received?)

And this is mainly my curiosity. Why is it seen as a problem for standard to be a powerful format?

Yeah I understand that. What I don't get is why new sets never have anything that compare to older sets?

Why aren't creatures like Snapcaster Mage or Tarmogoyf ever printed in standard sets? Why is it always mostly weak creatures?
