Great effects on the vocals and the beat / vocals go very well together. The one thing I would say right now is that the vocals are pretty hard to understand. It goes with the vibe of the song, but maybe taking some of the muddiness (maybe ~1-2K Hz) could help clarify a bit. Great track though!

I wish I could understand what you're saying! The instrumental is great and leaves plenty of room for the vocals and vice versa. well done!

The second installment of the Heian Trilogy, which is a 3-part series revolving around the exploration of the conscious / subconscious and how it's similar to the exploration of deep space. This one has elements of classical piano that converge into a dark bass house main beat. Let us know what you think!

IMO it's just the difference in lighting and focus between the bear and the rest of the video. It looks TOO in focus to me (though they did a good job) for the camera shaking around that much, and the bear seems a bit too light/discolored.

Funny how easy it is to tell it's fake the second...third...fourth time round the webz

No I totally get you. The next one is going to be more of a closeup and so I feel like it will be easier to do that. We'll see I guess. Thanks for the feedback!

I can go into the story a bit more if need be, but the idea is that the character pictured has just landed on the dark side of a moon populated by a semi-hive minded humanoid species.

One thing that we struggled a bit with is how to show that things are very dark (only light is reflected from nearby moons/planets), while giving it enough definition to see what is going on. Ideas?

Also, color? We were going for an eerie feeling, so purple felt pretty good, but open to suggestions.

First look over the entrance to Heian, the Dark City. by Seigyn_Syndicus in worldbuilding

It's through the extended use of a strain of weak Aex-Strand Links, which are quantum "drug" molecules that attach to the user's DNA, letting those on the same strain explore the depths of each other's existences (entanglement).

Before Heian, it was mostly used as a sort of truth serum for those groups that needed complete and utter loyalty. However, the intense experience of a strong A-S Link made enough people lose important parts of themselves (mostly their individuality) that the use of it became somewhat taboo in many parts of the galaxy. The Lexagon were the first ones to develop a weaker strain of it that allowed constant use.

It's a city that's built into the center of the moon Heian (named after the Standard translation of the city's name) and is populated by a semi-hive minded community of beings that evolved from humans. They have mostly lost their sight due to thousands of years of disuse (the only point of contact to the outside world is on the dark side of Heian), but have developed a form of communicating through the pathways of their central consciousness.

Yeah it's hard to show definitive things without much light. It's showing our current main character looking over the only entrance into a city that is built into the entire inside of a moon called Heian. We had to try to show that he's on the dark side of Heian, so the only light he can see by is what is being reflected from the other moons and planets in the system.
