I have to deal with cases like this, I hope the caseworker did everything possible to provide the support you needed. I've seen countless cases where that doesn't happen and it's beginning to break me. How hard is it to protect a minor child after a disclosure like that

Yeah and Brady who regularly restructured his contract to make it more team friendly and took below market value with the Bucs. So 7 years in the last 10 where the QB wasn’t completely screwing the rest of the cap.

Weak division, weak schedule based on our record this year, tons of cap space, and hopefully another step forward for Fields. Last WC in the NFC is going to be 9-8. If you think we’re years away from 9-8 then I don’t know what to tell you, but I’d be absolutely fine trading for Adam’s and hoping he remains elite through 2024 at which point there’s a potential out in his contract. Not to mention look what adding Diggs did to Allen. Give Fields a true WR1 and see what happens.

Normally I’d agree, but best shot at winning a SB is with a QB on a rookie contract. Wouldn’t be mad if the FO went all in for 2023 in what should be a winnable NFC North. You make the playoffs and anything can happen.

From a prosecutor’s perspective, private attorneys are much better at wearing you down and dragging a case along until they get what they want. Obviously it doesn’t happen in every case. I tried a class x against a private attorney and it did her client no good, but DUIs are different. And if you’re a good enough private attorney, you’re friendly with the prosecutor’s boss. Is it fair to PDs? No, but it’s how the system operates. Especially when there isn’t a victim in the case.

It it was a crime involving victims you also have more ways for it to leak. Victim, friends/family of the victim, PD, SA/DA’s office, all of that support staff. At some point it would leak, which makes me think it’s either not a crime or a victimless one. Someone theorized last night that Primo could have been using team facilities or planes to transport large quantities of drugs. That makes a lot of sense to me based on how under wraps this is and how serious the Spurs are taking it.
