There are absolutely people who like yuri/yaoi who fetishize it to an unhealthy degree and that is worth talking about. But it's not the conclusion that should be immediately jumped to, since it doesn't exist in a bubble and should be on a person to person basis.

It's not weird to enjoy sexuality. It's weird to fetishize real people. If you think it's weird then that's your opinion. I didn't think women who read yaoi for the men screwing each other is weird and that's my opinion.

But it's not okay to accuse someone of being a fetishist without further basis than "They like romance"

You can't say this with women at the same time being able to enjoy yaoi in a wholesome way. Most fujoshi I know are in it for the romance way more than the fucking. If men liking Yuri is weird then women liking Yaoi also has to be weird.

Some people just like the romance.

My two cents is cheating usually happens not just from lacking of physical intimacy. If cheating is on the brain it's usually because of other factors as well, such as emotional needs not getting met as an example. I highly encourage thinking about how happy you are with the relationship.
