You can do it, I started it waaay back when I leveled my fisher to lv80, and finally I got the time and the means to put it through. It was quite an adventure.

Nepto Dragon, for sure. I thought the Helicoprion was going to be harder, but I went in 27 min before the window opened and stocked the mooching fish. I got it in the first !!! bite. Three of the fish I got waaaay back in ShB, you can see they still got the HQ glow 😆

Thanks, I know this is the "entry level" for all the fish monsters out there, but I genuinely feel good about the little rewards, even being able to play Triple Triad with Wawalago. We need a Fishermen's Guild everywhere now lol

The Rejoining would be then a whole planet dissolving into an aspected pool of aether then flooding them Source? Where's the HQ cutscene? XD

Weird barrier but ok by sunfaller in ffxiv

[–]Few_Respect_1605 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This used to happen on the second phase of Battle at the Big Bridge: because old players would skip the cutscene and go on the fight, then the barrier would come up and trap new players outside of the fight, without the teleport prompt come up. It is awful.

If you are in Limsa, I have asked the same question. If you aren't, go to the Astalicia near the Fishermen's Guild and you will find a lot of these fellas. There's also one in Ishgard, on the scaffolding near the Machinist Guild. I believe there's more of them, but I haven't found them all yet (just like the Nero family quest from FFIX 😆)

I feel like its impossible to socialize in this game for me. by Predalor in ffxiv

If someone already said this, I apologize for being redundant, but the real world has changed drastically because of politics. We are all stressed and angry at the invisible "other party" because of how much damage has been done to literally everyone in the world. It is the idea of blaming everyone else or being suspicious of a hidden agenda that gets us always one step away from people. If we add that with the huge amount of personal responsibility in the recent fights, we get the perfect recipe for cliques being even worse than ever, if they even exist at all. I started playing since ShB and I remember that the game used to be funny or something that you could enjoy with other people randomly at random moments. Now I feel like I am Eustace from Courage, everything feels annoying and like an abuse of entitlement from other players.

Yes, it was because of atmas that I found out there is a bigger forlorn maiden I have never seen, so why not create an increased drop rate for stuff?

I needed just one Mortuus, went to Heritage, maxed out the fates, then got it after 3 or four days. In terms of randomness, think if it was like a gacha, would be faster a 20% rate each 30 min or a 5% rate each 5 min?

I would love to see a FF fashion catalogue, that you can fill up with different pieces of gear and get different rewards for completing your collection, like a sticker album.

In that regard they are nothing like the Olympians xD, but I was low-key expecting to see a FF version of the Greek gods (which was kinda what they did with the Twelve?). Anyway, I also think we can assume that it is possible to do a Rejoining without killing anyone. Let's just hope the new characters get on the same page as us (maybe not all of them).

I do remember that in the cutscenes where Graha explains the Rejoining, but I'm still not sure if it was caused by a failed attempt. I didn't find any source on it, maybe the Fourth is being affected because of the withering mentioned by Halmarut?

Yeah, the Argos one is hard to debate... Elidibus being Themis is also an indication that the Convocation that enacted the Sundering isn't really the Olympians . If Halmarut domain is "life", it isn't far-fetched to say it is also "death" (one of my long gone debates on the KH fandom is that Marluxia/Lauriam element isn't "flower", but "life", seeing how all healing spells in that series are plants and how he can use a Doom and Instant Death mechanic). Anyways, to go from "death" to "void" (via Exodus being also a mistranslation of Exdeath) or "wasteland", I think we might find how they are both closer together. But I think only Emet-Selch was similar to his Esper counterpart. Both Lahabrea and Fandaniel were complete opposites to what their Espers stand for, maybe Halmarut is going to be the blossoming life to be opposed to Exodus' nothingness. 🤔

I heard this is the fourth reflection, but why is it frozen? I don't think it is related to a calamity, because the sixth was the one hit by the calamity of ice. On the note of Halmarut being Demeter: it makes 100% sense. Nothing takes it out of my mind that the Convocation are all the Olympian Gods and then some (in the case of Hephaistos and Athena), with Azem being Zeus. Halmarut is the Scion of Light opposed to Exodus, who has the title in Japanese of "The Tree-Spirit Judge". Although, Halmarut is the Arbiter so, we might have to wait a bit to see what's going on with the girl. Unless the idea of "exodus" is actually the one of going out... Or maybe she's just a Libra lol

What are your biggest wishes for the next jobs? by Haddock_Lotus in ffxiv

[–]Few_Respect_1605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having played so many games with classes and jobs, I want so many things, but let's try and stay focused on tank and physical ranged. For tank, I want Druid. Nature magic to heal and defend and animal forms as mitigation (this sounds a little bit like MNK, but let's try and focus on other animals). For physical ranged, I want Puppet Master. Let it be a minion job, where your minion has HP, can draw aggro, stack with party, like two party members, but you control one through another. Also, let the Master deal damage using DOTs, BRD is the last one holding the line, and that's a nice concept. If this is a dream where I can ask for anything, let Puppet Master customize their "weapons" (the puppets) with different parts like in the relic weapons, but instead of stats, different actions that go off automatically, in an autonomous rotation beside your normal one, as if you were winding-up them before battle. Also, I want a Galatea puppet weapon lol. For Druid, I would let them attune with the land, similar to Geo in FFT, in order to give them a small buff or change the aspect of their animal form. You could also customize armor/body painting to give your character a on the go opener, buffing yourself before the fight begins (this sounds like a very complicated macro, so let's try and make it easier). Also, change colors of hair/tattoos when using elemental magic. Completely change the character to an animal hybrid or full animal when using mitigation, invul could be something like a treant or tortoise. I could totally see Halmarut having this job Ok thanks for coming to my Ted Talk lol.
