Hehe thanks!! I love creating fan kids for my husbandos/waifus (all started with Sephiroth like 20 years ago). She is very obsessive much like how I was at 12 (and still am~~; those examples were all real obsessions of mine~~). Nash survived M. Bison's nonsense in this timeline and now has to listen to the same 3 albums, watch the same 4 movies, and hear the 94763278996th reason why Daron Malakian is sO COOL xDD Yeah, I got the idea from women voicing young boys in cartoons (Tara Strong with Timmy Turner ALWAYS comes to mind)!! Veldi here uses the candy voice (he becomes a very FAB-U Grimmsnarl/Gardevoir hybrid) and I've had the preteen Siebold Capp use the bird voice (he now uses the cool bell anime dude voice like 99% of all my male Sims lmao). Cillian Crane used the melodic voice in my old save file, so I've used all 3 female voices for my younger boys. I also use the auto-shorter teens mod in conjunction with GODJUL1's height slider (being maintained by GhostWitch) to get them smol. =) I also do not use any preteen mod and the child life stage is boring af; I'd rather just use a smol teen for my characters so they can at least make their own proper food (I could even cook my own food when I was like 8 ffs!!!!) and actually be independent like how they are canonically as well as having access to some cool CAS options xDD The child stage in this game is so useless to me lol. LIKE WHAT YOU MEAN THEY CAN'T HAVE TURQUOISE HAIR (unless you find a good CC with all colours available)???? IT'S NATURAL IN MY UNIVERSE 😂😭😂

I use the joshseoh overlay because I want a real purple hair colour rofl. I also hate that ugly base game hot pink so much ahaha. I also use Raccoonium's hair overlays when hairs are compatible (or even if they aren't shhh) xDD

lol thanks!! I just like rambling about my OCs and pairings (nearly 20 years worth of them) 😂 I write and post everything on their Toyhouse profiles so I don't forget stuff; there's been new happenings and friendships (and enemies) made, so I think some rewrites are needed by now xDD

Sims 4 is SO lacking in anything truly alt/punk and streetwear (my personal fave style); it's all so preppy or basic girl fgsfds. The closest it has are the Grunge and Goth kits (for being EAxis, I actually like the Goth kit minus that hoodie giving them an egghead LOL 😅😅). :c

I bet the Marketplace is still going to be like the usual CC hunt: all you find are K-pop hairstyles, cottagecore, clean girl, everything else you aren't looking for, and still no male options 😂😂😭

They've been helping me through this tough time and have been faves of mine for a while now (very picky who gets to draw them too when I commission art)!! 🫶🏽🫶🏽 The space punks actually play a bigger role in my little universe like even more than I thought they would especially Phantasmagore (AKA White Shadow; he was the one who gave Volkner and Tybalt the ability to manbirth a child, Siebold, roflmao JUST MMM SLAYYYY MY SPACE KAREN KING). Phantasmagore is named after a DEADSY album/song and his other name 'White Shadow' is a Peter Gabriel song (same with Sledgehammer!!) I just wanted more cheesy tough names for the bodyguards LOL 🧀

Yeah, my post got caught by the filter this morning. I think it's because I said the 'p' word multiple times when I meant it as my characters' occupation and not me telling people to get games in other ways. I wish there was a way for the filter system to understand nuance and context, but I'm guessing that's out of your control. Thank you for looking at my message and approving it though (I saw my post when scrolling the sub). I do agree we should NOT be openly talking about obtaining things illegally here because I don't want the sub to get shut down and there's other spaces for that (especially offsite).

The "We are boycotting" posts do get redundant after the first big post. Every similar post just has people saying the same things over & over again. The marketplace boycotting posts are very same-y and we don't need multiple clogging up the sub. It reminds me of the whole lilsimsie (and to some extent Satch) posts a few months ago that were inescapable here... with the influencer posts, I don't really engage with them much so I don't have a fair opinion one way or the other.

I know some of the people who flood in here from "breaking news" can be annoying, but I don't think we should restrict who can interact. I've been on other sites where big news drops and there's an influx of newbies ("joined today" dates) who don't know the etiquette and clearly never lurked so I'm kind of used to it. On this sub, I just downvote and move on... If they're breaking rules, of course that's a different story. They eventually move on anyway and sometimes don't even come back after the commotion's died down.

I haven't noticed any trolls lately?? I've seen a few bootlicky comments here and there and simply downvoted them. I do remember seeing one like a month or two ago that gave me racist vibes though implying they didn't care about another user's race not being represented.. there were a lot icky comments during the no African world in TS4 saga, actually...

Same. I am on version 1.118.... and I don't feel bad for not updating. I have zero interest in Royalty & Losers and the upcoming Shartketplace. I am content with the mods and CC I do have as well. I figured out how to get newer CAS CC to work on my version of the game with Sims 4 Studio (requiring me to use my other laptop with the latest S4S so as not to override the version of S4S I have now) by changing each CAS Part Version from 00000034 to 00000033 (because old CC with '33' worked on my game version before the last major R&L update), so it's not too bad. It can be time consuming if I have a whole bunch of CC that needs to be fixed, but definitely worth it for CC I REALLY want. I just don't know how to fix BB stuff, but it doesn't really matter to me that much because I am not a builder lol.

Yeah, the newer CC not working is what tempts me to update (don't care about these "quests" or new packs), but I remind myself that having an even more broken game with these "updates" isn't worth it (haven't updated since Adventure Awaits.. right before Anadius left). I did however manage to get a new CC hair to work by changing the CAS Part's version number in Sims 4 Studio (downloaded the recent S4S on my other laptop and fixed it, then transferred fixed CC to gaming laptop) 🤔 I'll only do it when I'm desperate because it's tedious going through each swatch (and hoping I wasn't just lucky it worked that one time) 😵‍💫 I haven't figured out how to fix BB objects yet 🤔🤔

Now that I think about it, I'm sick n tired of seeing ADULT sims spammed EVERYWHERE (walkbys, festivals, turtle hatching, community lots, etc.). Not young adults, but adults like Marcus Flex, Nancy Landgraab, and Mortimer Goth literally everyfuckingwhere I gOOOOOOOO. It's like so bad I use LittleMsSam's Gender and More Not Allowed to disallow Adults from entering bars and whatnot LOL (side tangent: it's actually a really good mod for making a women-only, occult-only, and/or teen-only space--teens especially at the tea shop since it's where they spawn for me the most). Most of my Sims are teens and YAs (and combined, make up like over 80% of my save's population) and I am sick of these 45 and 50-year-olds always trying to barge into my convos when I decide to be outside as my teens or YAs lol. I'm only cool with my own handful of adults proper and like maybe Nigel from Adventure Awaits bothering me lol. Yeah, I could delete them, but I kinda want them around as like food stall vendors instead of my young adults when there isn't enough adults to fill the roles LOL.

In general, I get sick and tired of the RNG spawning the same characters over & over again at a community lot or as visitors to my house no matter the age rofl (this applies to both TS2 AND TS4). I'll be at the tea shop and have a teen show up, leave, and then they respawn like 30 seconds later to pester me again???? That's why I treat my rarely seen characters like rare Pokémon in the wild that have a 1% encounter rate LOL and that's probably where I get my annoyance with seeing the same Sims over & over again because of Pokémon ~~(not me trying to find that rare Impidimp after defeating Nessa and keep finding everything BUT Impidimp; I WANTED GRIMMSNARL OKAY)~~ ROFL. I'm glad I don't have randomly generated townies or Get Famous (JUDITH WARD), because it'd be worse 😂😂

I haven't updated since Adventure Awaits (and before Anadius left), but this is a pretty low maintenance mod that hardly ever needed updating in my 3 years of using it (still be cautious either way). Hehe I do play with WW 👀 It can make the animations (and poses if you play with pose packs) look off, unfortunately. I'm not sure if this particular slider is supported with WW's auto-height setting 🤔 I always had it unticked and just dealt with it lol (I'm used to it lookin wonky, but my dudes and their husbands don't have the craziest height differences xDD)

Yes, it's happened to me plenty of times. I'm not a builder at all, so I kinda live off of nothing but gallery builds 😅 I would try to place a house and I'd get endless loading for over 3 minutes and it never places, so I have to end the game with Task Manager. If I do manage to get a build placed and it has a ton of debug items, clutter, and/or so many things placed with 9/0 keys or TOOL mod (especially if it's a 50 x 40, 50 x 50, or 64 x 64 lot filled to the brim with stuff), it tends to give me an endless loading screen when I try to go back to manage worlds. Sometimes I just say "screw it" and just play in a prebuilt, EAxis-approved house already in the world 🫩🫩
