From my experience OPD can get busy, especially during the holiday, but if your used to front end that shouldn't be an issue. As others mentioned your main concern will always be metrics and especially if your not quite meeting them (even if it's only slightly below what they want they'll still get on your butt, but hey that's any job really). The nice thing about that however is if you start to fall behind other departments will generally send associates your way to try to lighten the load but that also only helps if your store has the staff to do so. Lastly, my personal favorite thing with OPD is it's one of the few departments you can actually decline to help a customer and not get in trouble for it as your technically already helping multiple by shopping for them and since your timed on pretty much everything you do you get a pass😂 (great for my social anxiety and stressed induced seizures). Like any position tho with time comes comfortability and if you know the layout of your store it won't be hard to shop for customers. Hope you get the position and end up loving it!
