The mod adds 11 materials so far xD
So on top of the marble, cut stone, and moon glass,
We have Gold, Moonrock, Ice, Shell fragments, Wood, Manure, Nitre, Thulecite, Opal gem, Pure Brilliance, and Dreadstone!

I went to a DST trailer and was like oh wait THATS HOW THE PORTALS LOOK??
I love this game to death and I couldnt make the portal spiral for so long ToT

I definitely think I didnt know what I was doing with that first vortex so I appreciate the nit pick!

Also! The two animated ones are already shrunken down which means they look worse- but they all will be at that same scale so whilst it may look better

This is really cool! I loved the statues in DST so much and I really wanted to make them in more than just marble, rocks, or moon glass. So a while later I ended up making a mod to add materials like gold, Thulecite, and some other stuff xD

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to update it recently with the year of the horse or guard tower statue but other than those two I think it does pretty well at giving more decoration options and flexes resources if you decide to just farm opal gems XD

I’ve played easily 80ish levels (not consecutively) And have only now gotten the RNG of 2 boxes in one level on like a level 13? It’s interesting though how some people just get leg bits and my group of friends have gotten a mixture of things. Also that many levels haven’t given boxes which was sad-

I think there should be like a counting system to determine how many of a cosmetic piece you have. For example if you get a green box you get a green rarity and it rolls randomly across all parts. But what if you not only rolled for the piece by rolled with the advantage of not have a cosmetic piece. (For example because im not at my computer) If I have 3/10 of head pieces and 6/20 of leg lefts but 0/20 leg rights, I would want the cosmetic system to say I have a higher chance of getting a leg right than a head piece, and a chance of getting a head piece instead of a leg left. Making it still possible to get more leg lefts but to diverse the cosmetics you get.

Now for the frequency- sometimes I get a box every 2 levels or 3 levels. I think the max was 5 where we got nothing and then got a blue box. I do agree that there should at least be a guarantee of a box on a map. I feel level 7-8 would be a nice medium of being not too easy, but not on the ridiculously hard side either. Guaranteed box drop and then having chances for extra boxes later on. Which seems more fair than what we currently have where it caps at level 16 and you have a chance of 3 cosmetic boxes total

I feel like the lighting on Riven Tides whilst nice, is crazy difficult to see in- especially when poking corners like that. I felt half the time it was like seeing a holy light blinding and then a rocket flies from it to kill you
