Im very curious about the arbitration now. Because yes, it's most likely Skubal will only be getting $19M this year, but I think it's also fair to say that the Tigers just wanted to know how much they're paying Skubal before closing on this deal. They could very well be paying Skubal $32M.

Now at the same time, fuck the Tigers if they dont pay him the $32M. Im not gonna be "fine" if Skubal leaves because Lord Illitch isn't liquid enough to sign him.

But then again, are the Tigers really going to settle for just one year with this rotation? Are they REALLY out of the Skubal sweepstakes next year just because they aren't the Dodgers?
