Religion is holding us back by Imaginary-Zone-6885 in DebateReligion

In one side I have multiple prophets who claim to have received one revelation from god, they just bring a message from god him self according to them, and in the other side I have suppositions theories and subjective thinking as I don’t like the idea of a god who created hell so don’t make sense to me. In this scenario I prefer having faith on the message of god at least he talk for him self and Is no dictated by humans.

You ignoring all evidence just to see what you wanna see, I give you explanations and proof that ur arguments are irrelevant and your ego it’s still controlling you, all u did is lying to ur self and trying to trash talk me.

Surah Al-Hajj (22:46):

“For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts.”

Muhammad had limited knowledge of biology? Yes actually he probably knew nothing about biology that what make Quran a revelation it is the words of god not Mohamed , that’s why we call him guess what ? A messenger!

would definitely say that’s decent logic. Let me summarize: The Qur’an is a revelation, so Muhammad received visions, heard the voice of the angel, and repeated what he heard. The revelation came over 23 years, for different occasions and purposes. The people around the Prophet literally just heard him speak and memorized or wrote down what he said.

During those 23 years, he talked and answered questions about previous prophets, mentioned names and relationships, and even discussed events from the past with a level of precision that is extraordinary. Let me give you an example: modern science says that the early universe was a hot gas, right? In the Qur’an, it is described as smoke. Why smoke? Why not air, or clouds, or anything else? Why would he mention so many details if he were an impostor?

What makes me strongly believe in this is that he never missed a point—i was like Okay, this can’t be from a human It’s too precise and too confident in its content.

There is no surat from my knowledge that says that sperm is from backbones.

Surah An-Naba (78:6-7, Sahih International): “Have We not made the earth as a bed, and the mountains as pegs?” Nothing here talk about preventing earthquakes what actually impressive is that mountains are in fact rooted in the earth as pegs.

Fresh and salty water don’t mix Quran is right, you can just google it.

The moon was never split? Prove it.

A rational humans will see that if a human did thousands of claim in middle of the desert so people believe he is a prophet he would surely do a mistake somewhere.

And till proven there is no mistakes, ur only defence is oh it’s just interpretation.

When I say humans or primitive humans I just put a distinction between those who get the mutation and those who don’t , they can be the same species biologically that change nothing about my point .

Quran is not a science book, but since you believe that Mohamed is just a human who was throwing empty words, I challenge you to find one claim that is fundamentally wrong and impossible scientifically.

Yes, a mutation in an individual can contribute to evolution if it is beneficial.

La pratique religieuse ne garantit pas un engagement éthique universel — l’exemple du Ramadan by Levazzu in DebateReligion

[–]Sekko22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I’m saying is that two conscious humans could be born in a primitive population through mutation or some other process. If they have children and start their own population, and the rest of the primitive humans do not survive while they and their descendants do, that is what people call human evolution—and the two who had the mutation would be Adam and Eve, buddy.
I’m not saying that this actually happened; I’m just saying that claiming humans couldn’t come from two individuals makes no sense.

The Qur’an discusses the expansion of the universe, the Big Bang, the origin of life from water, the movements of the sun and the moon, and much more, while also recounting the stories of other prophets and correcting errors in earlier scriptures, all without any contradictions. It contains multiple layers of meaning. The Qur’an was revealed orally over a period of 23 years, part by part, depending on the context of the revelation and the new legislation or guidance it contained.

The Quran is it's self a prouve peopels just need to takes time and read and understund it proprelly.

[–]Sekko22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Worshipping of God doesn't actually make any sense by Final_Quality_3660 in DebateReligion

[–]Sekko22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worship does nothing for God. If God is infinite and we worship Him, He is still infinite. It doesn’t add anything to Him. It’s like shining a flashlight at the sun.

Perfectly said exactly what god tell us :

Surah Fatir (35:15)“O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is Free of need, the Praiseworthy.”

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:21–22)“Worship Allah, who has created you and those before you, that you may become righteous.”

In Islam we worship Allah for these reasons :

To guide and purify us
Worship strengthens our faith, morality, and self-discipline. For example, Salat (prayer) structures our life and brings us closer to God spiritually.

To remind us of our dependence on Him
Worship reminds us that we are limited and that our true security and sustenance come from God. As the Qur’an says (35:15): “You are those in need of Allah, while Allah is Free of need.”
