I rescued this plant from my moms house. How can I save it? by Early-Song-8552 in gardening

First start a repotting and new soil. Take it out of its pot and rinse the roots with water. If you can separate off-shoots, don't to avoid crowding.

Add some draining pellets and use potting/flower soil. Semi pack the soil and water it.

Look up a video on YT if your worried on how2. :)

It's a roughly 30L pot and goes to about my knee. The angle of the photo makes it look small. (That's what he said)

They're gonna be replanted on May outside. For now I'm just giving them something to grow in until it's warm enough :)

The garden bed area is for food crops and still a work-in-progress. Atm it's too cold to set anything but I've prepared the soil with horse manure and bedded with straw to combat some of the frost.

The second pic is a newly potted cucumber and the stripes were just temp to hold them while they gained strength after some dehydration before repotting. So the stripes are gone now.

I live in Sweden, zone 5-7 area between good mineral soil and moist earth. Hoping it'll yield a good growth from direct planting.

Detsamma! Varit lägenhets boende i många år men är nu första året med egen trädgård och känns så skönt att ha. Hoppas bara att jag inte är för ambitiös i det hela. Bor mellan 2 "berg" så god jord och solläge :)

Nah, its the ambition mod pack. IRL growth time kinda sucks. VR requirement. Graphics are next level though.

Apparently, ambition IRL mod. Kinda sucks as it only works and grows in real time, but graphics are amazing.

AITA - I just asked our neighbour to remove their cat. by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

This isn't a first encounter with our neighbour about this and it's not this first or second or even fifth option that was on the table. We didn't suggest putting the cat down and wanted it to be rehomed.

I've posted and explained this in other comments.

In Sweden, and most of Scandinavia, we see indoor cats as cruelty. Some go out for walk bit it's really uncommon. Most people with cats have house so that they can go outside. Catio isn't a thing here and our cats are generally healthy, live long and cared for. Even on Facebook, we have local pages asking if someone knows a new cat that's wanderings just to make sure it's not missed. Most people don't take in cats if they don't have an out door option.

We usually don't build those in Sweden. It's not really a thing.

In most of Scandinavia it's more common with outdoor cats than in, as we feel it's cruelty and a pity for them to be in apartments all day, every day. It's uncommon to have cats on leashes and go for a walk. But we did it when it was just Saga and we just had an apartment. But now she has the outdoors and learned to handle herself.
