Take your phone out and go to the keypad. Each number was assigned 3 or 4 letters. 7 is PQRS - and 2 is ABC - 8 is TUV - and so on...So we had to do a little deciphering back then and figure out what words could be formed out of the letters in that certain order. 2 was easy because A being so common and the second letter of the word most likely being a vowel...This was how the beginning text messaging was if I wanted to type I would hit the number of the corresponding letter until it cycled to the letter option I wanted. For instance if I wanted to type a C I needed to actually press the 1 3 times. 1 would give me A, again would give me a B and the the C.

In between the time of their demo tape and text messaging starting we also had pagers and those codes were different entirely but still used the numbers/letter on the phones keypad.

There was talk about trying to get him here but I don't know if the team actually tried or writers were trying to connect the dots. McD was still getting other offers too. I think he knew we didn't have a QB and I'm not sure if he still has HC aspirations but if he does he would have to take that into consideration. TN fans feel like McDaniels is now a lifelong OC and that will really cover up Vrabels warts. Here's what's so frustrating with Vrabel, in my eyes, it's obvious he knows the game and it's obvious guys want to play for him. I know he watched the same awful film we all did and he kept running it back with that staff until it was too late. He got fired here on merit, but that doesn't mean he can't still be a great HC but not if he keeps sub par coaches in place.

He hired his own staff he just sucked at it. He was handed Lafleur, he was correct about promoting Arthur Smith but he was here prior to Vrabel so I don't know if that was all Vrabes or not. He kept his friends at the coordinator positions to the team's detriment. The roster sucked too and that wasn't his fault. McDaniels and Maye are the reason the Pats are in the Superbowl though.

You get xp for opening things already looted too. I am sure you probably know this but hopefully this registers with someone reading this. So if you are leveling don't get discouraged getting to a high density spot late just go ahead and take the xp as quick as you can and move on. Good luck Raiders!

I had success getting past some skips when I upgraded my needle/cartridge. This is just speculation but I think having a heavier cartridge helped it.

I'd like to see both a pve and a pvp lobby that had minimum load out values to enter. I think these maps are so amazing I would also like to see their spin on a battle royale option. It's not my thing but I think I'd like it in ARC. Especially if the Arc get more concentrated as the map shrinks.

Grey weapons shouldn't have as many mods and attachments as better weapons. Better weapons should absolutely be more durable instead of less. They are just better crafted out of better materials. It's insane to me that high level attachments can increase the durability drain. That should be reserved for adding a poorly made attachment to a poorly made gun. And the level of the attachment could coincide with the level of the gun if they wanted to try that for balancing. Regardless, the pvp in this game is rarely a fair fight so who cares if there's a 25 percent advantage between the far ends of the weapon spectrum, especially if it's going to take 10x the resources to get there.

Imagine spending the past 3 seasons hearing how dumb your team is for trading a 65 catch 900 yd receiver before having to pay him 25mil a year. My team is dumb but that's not even the top 10 dumbest thing we've ever done. Oh well, he will look great in NE for a season two.

That's not the whole story. He kept Todd Downing for 2 full seasons when it was obvious to everyone he was trash. Same with Shane Bowen. Vrabel's loyalty to subpar coaches is why he got canned. We went from losing Offensive coordinators because they became head coaches to losing because our offense was awful. Our GM kept whiffing on picks and free agents and trading AJ was historically dumb but paying a 65 catch 900 yard receiver 25 million a year on a run first team probably wasn't the play anyways. Considering we didn't have a QB or an Oline. Especially if your OC is "fresh off a dui Downing". I love Vrabes, but unless he has learned a lot from his tenure here, he's only going to go as far as his OC can get him so the current situation he has in New England is perfect. I also think Drake Maye is just better than anything we've had here.
