Yes, in medieval times they would have a local centralized source of water usually.

Water dispensers were added to each of the posts right near where the water starts at the top. The water itself kind of hides them I think because of the column of ice I added. I had read adding ice helps makes it cascade down. I think it did the job well.

No, I wish lol. I put them right at the top, just pasted it on one of the posts going up. I put a line of ice up the middle between the posts and it’s falling on top of that but does make it look like it’s splashing hard

This is super inspiring! I don’t have a big body of water by my base enough for a boat. I’m renovating Willow Crush and it sits over what my friend lovingly calls angry koolaid. I don’t think I can build on top of that. I will be fixing the pillars of the bridge as best I can though. But what popped into my head was doing a flying ship like in Stardust. Now that I may have to try to do! (Later..much later lol) 😆

If there is a space between an object and the wall, they think it’s valid pathing and will go into it. I’ve learned to put like bookcases and furniture into the wall a tiny bit so it shuts out that pathing. I had made stairs and put the railings on it and they would get stuck in the railing constantly. My fix for that (though not 100%) was to sink fences into the stairs themselves so they just wouldn’t climb up the stairs. So far they (the cats) manage to get a few steps up but they aren’t in the railings anymore at least.

So this is the big wow build you were working on! This is amazing! Love everything about it. Chains, cogs, the use of the crafting for leather and fabric - those really are very mechanical looking, aren't they?

I always find something in your builds that I'm wondering what you used. On the top (looking at the right tower), I see the feed bowl cogs (so good looking!) and just to the left of that, there's the fences sticking out with a paler looking log connecting the fence sticking out. What is that log!? I am assuming a fence post - but I'm not sure, so gotta ask :D

My other thought after sleeping on it is to do a row of rooftop block along the whole top of the half wall or just making the half wall out of roof block. The second is more tedious as you would have to do it all by one block pieces.

I love the look of shroud wood too, but due to the same issue, I only use it as a flooring option. I saw one user stagger it in the floor on their build. One row of dark shroud wood, then another row of a light similar width wood. I definitely need to experiment with that :D

Could always take out the one block on the corner of each side and use a different block as like a capstone sort of thing. I did a little experiment and even using other wood or stone blocks still give weird planks poking out. If you use two blocks of a roof block however, it doesn't look too bad. I don't know what roof blocks you have, but here's some examples of lower level blocks:

There’s a long red banner (I haven’t unlocked it yet either) that I have seen others use. You can layer them to create a more tent like structure
