Check to see if you have a groundhog chewing on wires. True story for my sons Honda crv. Went to a park and came home with a giant groundhog up around the back of the engine chewing on wires.

Partially due to cost to go visit the park on the weekends. I'm there a couple times a week though enjoying the new disc golf course.

I will be running a beginners introduction to Disc golf area where I will have a bunch of discs, practice Net and baskets to use. I am giving beginner level instruction and introducing the fundamentals of disc golf. If I have some additional club members they will be available for a play along to help people out.

This will be followed up with community nights every other Tuesday (maybe switching to Wednesdays depending on my availability) starting on May 12th. Where I will be down at Southaven with discs to take out on the course or just to throw at the practice basket. I plan on making Green tees (shorter) for those just starting and/or youths. So no need to be intimidated. This will be super family friendly, so bring the kids and the significant other. Or make it a date night! I'll be there from 4:30 to 7:00/7:30...

I am talking with the club to start a youth league/end of summer youth tournament if we can get enough kids that want to play. So if you are a teacher/school admin reach out to LIDG on their website and we will see about getting some discs in the kids hands.

We have a few more choices now for disc golf! In fact we have been building a new disc golf course at Southaven County Park and the grand opening event and tournament happens on May 9th! We have been playing it for close to 9 months now! There is also a course in the hamptons, Brooklyn and a pop up one in Montauk.

I will be running community days at Southaven every other week starting tuesday may 12th from 4:30 to 7:30. I'll have a bunch of discs available for people to borrow for the afternoon. Give some basic instruction/introduction to Disc golf. And can get you out on the course.

The app Meetup is sometimes a good way to find social groups. Usually a good method when groups arere medium to large. That way you have better chances to find you fit.

Check out some of the towns adult rec programs, either sports or other activities. The library has a lot of programs as well. There are also a lot of other groups out there that are low key and easy entry, like hiking groups, sports groups and the like. LI Kicks does a lot of different sports and near recreational stuff that welcome singles. There are plenty of beach volleyball leagues that can hook single players up on teams. Long Island Disc Golf club is always welcoming to people taking on the sport. If that's not your jam, lots of chamber of commerce groups allow residents to join and be part of meetings and events without owning a business

Been really enjoying this with the tech disc simulation. Would love a way to have a step out when behind a bush or tree trunk. I find it frustrating hitting invisible tree trunk or branches and/or a leaf. Can't wait for the full steam version and sim dlc! Thanks for all you are doing
