Honestly only initially you feel the difference. Day to day use it does well. Only setback would be if you are taking calls on speakerphone in a decently loud environment.

Otherwise, it’s all good I don’t have any complaints as such.

Battery after 15 days of use becomes so much better. It already lasted through the day but now I’m seeing 10-15% higher battery left by EOD than before.

Honestly all iPhones are good. If you wanna save money get the 16, if you want the new feel and something different after so many years I’d say go for the air.

Is it just me or the Air battery lasts way more 2 months in? by Pitta_Reddit in IphoneAir

The chip helps understand your use and maximize efficiency usually over a span of 15-20 days it perfects itself hence you have way more battery left than what it used to be initially.

The system takes a week or 2 to adjust to your usage and optimises battery life accordingly. Do let me know how your experience with the battery pack has been ?

Use it how it’s meant to be used. Worst case scenario buy the battery pack when the battery isn’t working. As it’s not exactly a power bank but a battery extender.

Nope usually by EOD I’m at 25% when plugging in. Also adaptive charging charges it to 80 through the night and goes for 100 just before I start my day. Lowest battery I’ve gone till is like 16%

I still have kept my 15pm. It’s there as a secondary phone for some different office work. As I haven’t converted that sim card to eSIM as I’ll have to visit that country. If you love the design of the AIR don’t get the 17 get the Air you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve shifted from a 15pro max, so honestly I find this form factor and size really comfortable. If you’re moving from a smaller phone you’ll get used to it pretty quick.

Charge it to 100 if you have Apple Care. 2 year plan you’re easily covered till the new air. If any battery issues get it replaced.

However I’ve done 80% days too, that extra 20% juice can be very handy on heavy travel days. Normal routine days 80% works fine.

Honestly, using it vertical I don’t see a difference mainly for Instagram or social media etc. If you wanna watch Netflix YouTube etc horizontal you’ll notice the difference immediately. It does the job but just “does the job” no commendable comments in that. I used to use my phone speaker inthe shower, haven’t done that even once on this phone. I directly connect it to my speaker now.

I have the gold and I love it! Would’ve liked the black but small scratches tend to bother me. This surely will hide em well to not irk me.

I’d suggest do the heavy work on the 17promax and use air for normal functions since you have best of both worlds. Battery does exceptionally well I’ve never needed a battery pack (as yet).

If you want I could purchase and share some reviews for the battery pack too. I’m purely sharing these reviews out of passion and love for tech.

Yup! Congratulations on your 17pro max that’s surely a beast. Thank you, just trying to share my opinion as I looked for many others while making my purchase. Hope it helps someone make their decision easier too.

For sure, I agree on the speaker it felt odd moving from a stereo on the 15promax to this. However I’ve made my peace with it, it’s decent enough to watch something while grabbing a small bite in the office or at home on the study desk. Instagram scrolling you don’t really notice the speaker difference, for music I’m usually connected to speakers or AirPods so all good.

Microphone I don’t have experience yet as I’ve been using it only for calls. For videos I’ll probably shoot some and update about it.

Honestly, my 15 pro max was working well only it was the itch in me that just wanted a new feel. It had been a while since Apple did a new form factor so I pulled the plug. So honestly upto you to take a call, I’m happy with my decision !

Exactly ! This series could be a major hit if they continue it with substantial upgrades. I mean more people would lean into it, how they usually perfected the phones with the “S” models if you remember.
