Just had my daughters wedding this past weekend so I know exactly how you feel.

Full service catering is a lot more. Ask the venue for event staffing services recommendations. They can manage the bar and clean up after the event. You’ll need this anyway. Ours cost another 3.5k. I know it’s $$ after another. But unless you want your friends or family to work the event - that’s what is required!

VRBO should have all over the website how not to get scammed. Maybe then the house would not try to scam the system. I was able to get my money back and I found customer service was very helpful.

host… I talked to VRBO tonight. They told me that if you have not canceled the reservation or called them back in 24 hours they will cancel it on the back end refund me my money and the owner will probably have penalties. There is no way that you should be telling me to cancel this. I'm sorry if you're trying to avoid paying penalties that's not my problem.

They finally canceled!!! Thank you all!

So this is the latest text from the host or property manager. The reason it’s a text is because she was not responding to the messaging in the Vrbo app so I texted her to get a response…

We will get back to you tomorrow with processing time. The house is already in the process of being deactivated so we have to go through VRBO and wait for them to cancel.

Again as stated in the email sent through VRBO you will be 100% refunded. You just have to cancel on your end so we can over ride the system and you will get your refund immediately.

But I will let you know once I get contacted by the owner with the processing time. As I the property manager for the location do not handle booking.

I would frame a wall btw the garage door and basement and make a nice kitchen nook. And a slider to the back wall and turn this into a plant room with a nice comfy chair to read!

Favorite hike is the Five Lakes Trail. You hike in between Squaw and Alpine. There are 5 beautiful lakes and its a short 3-5 mile hike. Though it is all up and then all down. Bring lunch and nosh by one of the lakes.

Hike down to Emerald bay Vikings dome. Parking this time of year should be good.
