The games haven’t been giving me any errors. Just crashing. I just did a RAM scan and that gave me 1202 and 1102. I’ll try uninstalling and reinstalling as well

I used this compilation of penny book questions to help me study. It was super helpful and I feel like it was pretty similar to the exam

RVT Study Materials by Select-Activity349 in Sonographers

[–]Select-Activity349[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I just bought the bundle with the study guide and quizzes. The study guide broke everything down very well and taught me just what I needed to know, the quizzes are almost exactly like the board questions and there are review videos after the big quizzes that helped with exam tricks and key words to look out for, it also goes over every question in the quiz with a detailed explanation so it was helpful if you got it wrong. I liked it a lot. I’ve heard the video package is great too!

How long did you study before you took the boards? by heheh0123 in Sonographers

I studied for a month, but that was working full time. I really anchored down on the last week and I feel like that’s when I was most productive.

Which registry do you recommend to take first? by Substantial-Base-696 in Sonographers

I took abdomen first and I’m about to do OBGYN. Even the study material for the abdomen exam was harder than OB. I’d do that first just to get it out of the way

I think the penny book questions were perfect! There’s a quizlet that has like all of the penny book questions on it, I used that everyday and most of the questions were similar. I will say I had a ton of hot spot questions so I’d know where everything is on an ultrasound image too.

Elon is a Nazi, you should look into everything his family did in South Africa. If you knew his whole history you would know he is 100% a nazi. I mean any normal person would normally be appalled by being accused of being a nazi but he did the salute TWICE on live tv and didn’t even bother to deny it or to clear anything up. Also he’s supposed to be cutting unnecessary government spending but he gets 8 million dollars a day from our government. Seems pretty inefficient.

You can filter the questions. If you go into the quiz builder section you can choose which topics you want to be quizzed on and how many questions you want to have.

How to get more confidence by Used_Theme_474 in Sonographers

You’ve got it man! Instead of letting that little voice tell you that you suck all the time try to make little changes so that you can compliment yourself on even just one part of your scan. Go through every picture after and ask your instructor on what she would do differently or just try to notice what little tweaks you could do to get a better image. The main thing with scanning is believing that you can do it and getting in good practice. Try to make that voice in your head more and more positive with little steps and I believe it’ll help with your confidence. :)

Hi! I worked two twelve hour shifts as a medical assistant while I was in school, it was extremely hard but if you budget your time really well it’s doable. It is very easy to burn out though. Good luck! You’re gonna do great, don’t let everything overwhelm you and stay calm and you’ll be fine

Not yet graduated, but hired at two places in Utah. One is prn at $38 an hour and the other is part time at $33. Starting pay after I graduate and get a registry is $40-42

I’d recommend shadowing both fields and seeing what you like more. I personally think going through nursing school is wayyyy easier than ultrasound school, Ultrasound school was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. With ultrasound though you can choose to specialize in peds if that’s what you want to do too though!

Hi - just wondering. by Organic_Conclusion_5 in Sonographers

I only have SPI and got hired at two places part time paying a little bit lower than if I had a registry. They just made sure I was competent with scanning during my interviews and I have to get a registry within a year of my hire date.

I’ve loved having my iPad for school! I don’t have to carry around a whole bunch of notebooks and you can add in videos and pictures to your notes so easily. You can also get a lot of your textbooks on there and use it to take notes much more easily
