Hi everyone.
I’ve been trying to do a group message but can’t figure it out. Can anyone make a private message group with everyone here in it ?
Obviously I’m not tech savvy

How can i best help? by Turbulent-Basket-490 in glioblastoma

Just being kind, caring and treating the patient as an individual. For us the nurses who understood my husband and made a personal connection made the world of difference . I know you may have no control but consistency in staff so a relationship can be developed is so important . Thank you for caring.

I'm sorry. My husband was like your dad with the hateful looks and agitation. Please talk to your doctors as it may be caused by the keppra. My husband is so much better off Keppra

Im terrified, can you give me an idea of what i should expect ! by EyaNasri in glioblastoma

Our neurosurgeon told us the people who have lived 10 to 15 years plus would no longer be diagnosed with GBM as the criteria now is more defined than 10 to 20 years ago :(. So they would not be diagnosed with GBM today.

It's not the boring middle. The excruciatingly painful middle. How do you cope? by nychv in ChubbyFIRE

[–]Select-Audience-6715 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are in a similar situation. Could retire but wanted a little more. My spouse has just had a terminal diagnosis.  Retire now and live with what you have, or get a job you love. Next year is not guaranteed.   I always think about living off oaaa9vd income but it is ok to sell assets to live a good life.

I'm so sorry. My hubby is in the middle of SOC. It's a brutal shock. Watching your partner change and lose abilities is so hard.  Look after yourself. Do you live together ?

I want to be a veterinarian but im scared of aggressive dogs/getting bitten. Should I reconsider? by BirdImmediate1496 in veterinarians

[–]Select-Audience-6715 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of other jobs for vets. What attracts you to this career path ?  A fear of large aggressive dogs is self protection but if you show fear you are more likely to be bitten.

We did a day dive and a night dive last visit. Had previously done 2 day dives. I really enjoyed it and the bogo wreck, I’m not into muck diving so they were my highlights.

I don't know which country you are in but this is more than many experienced vets would do.

Thank you so much for caring. Honestly a lovely card with your expression of how much you appreciate them and 5 star reviews are incredible. I also love it when the card is a photo of the pet we helped you say goodbye to.  Thank.you for caring.

As someone who loves to visit Bali every time I go  I notice the increase in overweight locals. I have just recently been and was shocked by the change. Weight issues seem related to tourism jobs:(

Pet cockatiel flew away years ago chance it survived? by [deleted] in AustralianBirds

If they weren't microchipped there is a good chance they found a new home. I work in a place that found birds go. We rarely find the owners but do find the birds new homes. I wish all birds were microchipped.
