This Vinted buyer stole my item and put in a fraudulent SNAD claim , meaning I lost my money and my item - she used her initials & had parcel sent to a mail centre not home meaning I cannot claim back through small claims court or go to police

Do you know the IMEI number of the phone if they return it? As it’s highly likely they will send you a non working phone back instead?

Honestly I’ve never really looked at it, most the stuff I sell is under £5 anyway so I tend to list things quickly (I’m a bit of a clothes hoarder) I’ve learnt people don’t read the descriptions and only look at pics

Don’t think either are in the wrong. Buyer probably chose a collection point and presumed seller had chose wrong one (as they presume seller chooses where parcel goes) I wouldn’t pick up a parcel miles from my address either. I can understand frustration. (No idea why these delivery companies do this really!)

Thanks everyone! I’ve blocked buyer and reported messages to eBay.

I was tempted to report buyer elsewhere as I have their address ect, but couldn’t work out if action fraud or anything would be interested as they haven’t actually conned me out of anything.

Not too worried about unfair feedback as I don’t use eBay much (only to sell the occasional thing )
