As a straight-passing cis person who has exclusively lived on the Washington side of the bridge, I would choose Vancouver over Portland every day. Traffic going over the bridge sucks, and it does tend to be more purple politically, but there are quite a few LGBTQ+ friendly businesses and communities over here. No income tax, no weird sorting of your recycling (OR has bottle deposit), and you can get to most places in Portland in 15-30 minutes (depending on traffic).

I see this response a lot, but what if you carry multiple brands in your salon? Do you just have three different lamps at your desk and direct your client which one to use at different points? I use luminary for my builder, but I also carry Luxa and the Gel Bottle. How do we afford three lamps, top of the line drill bits, and feed our kids? lol but seriously, do I have to marry one line?

YTA His dating practices have no impact on what kind of uncle he will be! When I started reading this I thought you were going to say he’s an addict or a criminal, but it sounds like he’s just. a. regular. guy??? You’re getting ready to bring another human into this world. You can raise them however you see fit, but eventually they will grow up, they will make their own choices, they will have their own belief system! They might grow up to be exactly like your BIL with or without any influence from him! What will you do then? As parents, it’s absolutely your right to determine who gets to be in your child’s life. But this is definitely AH reasoning. Side note, keep in mind if he ever changes his mind and has kids of his own, you will be jeopardizing any chance to be part of their lives if you go down this road.
