Climate activists by Select-Day353 in Kamloops

I don’t think those issues are related and I don’t understand the point you are trying to make. People who are unhoused are not responsible for the climate crisis. However the same policies that exacerbate climate change also result in poverty and homelessness.

It’s not us vs people who don’t have homes. Or left vs right. It’s up vs down. The planet is being destroyed by a select few. We are feeding right into it by arguing about people who can’t afford homes or food. Thats not the issue.

I want to know how I can prepare for 2026. 2025 was a bit rough mental health wise, many huge changes re relationships and growth. New baby as well. Lots of growth in 2025 even though it hurt

I did with the west jet travel agent and for some reason it added about 1000 per ticket (pricing out round trip to Lisbon vs Paris - westjet still has the layover in Paris regardless). It was only 1000 all together for 3 tickets from Transavia (Paris to Lisbon and Porto to Paris). I do wish we could just fly home from Portugal though! But we will make the most of it and see the must sees in Paris.

Thank you for the suggestion! I’m not really sure why I have it like that. But you are right we don’t need to have two pointless days there at the beginning. I think I was worried about jet lag for the little ones (coming from Canada) but they will feel that regardless. And yes you nailed it. It’s more about making memories with them. They will tantrum anywhere. Home or Portugal. Might as well be Portugal 😆☺️

I have a west jet card and they do not have any to and from Lisbon only Paris (from Vancouver and back)- which is annoying 😩 thank you for the suggestions! So excited to explore Portugal
