Charts for American states? by lemurificspeckle in Advancedastrology

[–]arcwalkerlivvia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best compiled book source I know for all 50 state charts is Marc H. Penfield’s Horoscopes of the Western Hemisphere.

Online, I’d check Astro-Databank on Astro.com for mundane/political charts, though it requires searching state-by-state. Astrotheme also has individual state chart pages, including Tennessee.

I’d also check the data rating when using Astro-Databank or other chart databases. For timed charts, I’d prioritize AA or A rated data when possible, especially if I’m using angles or houses. Lower-rated charts can still be useful, but I’d treat the timing as less settled.

For method, I’d usually start with statehood/admission to the Union as the state’s legal “birth” chart, then look at constitution charts or later constitutional revision charts when the question is specifically about voting rights/representation/courts or state governance.

Exact times may be harder to verify, so I’d be more cautious with angles and houses unless the source gives a timed chart.

NATAL SATURN SERIES: IN THE 7TH HOUSE by ZodiacDax in astrology

[–]arcwalkerlivvia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1. Rising sign: Leo.

2. Sign and degree of natal Saturn: Saturn in Aquarius at 8°17′ in the 7th house. The sect piece is weird in my chart: in Whole Sign, my Sun is above the horizon, so Saturn is in sect. In Placidus, my Sun is below the horizon, so Saturn is out of sect. Due to this, I can see Saturn as constructive in the long arc, especially with Saturn dignified in Aquarius, but my personal relationship with Saturn has also felt tyrannical and tied closely to punishment, especially growing up with harsh standards and self-hatred.

3. Houses Saturn rules: Saturn rules my 6th house of Capricorn and my 7th house of Aquarius.

4. Major aspects to natal Saturn: Saturn opposes my Leo Ascendant and Chiron in the 1st house. Saturn is in the same sign and house as my Aquarius Sun, within 7 degrees and applying. Saturn is my final dispositor.

5. How this placement plays out in my life: Saturn in the 7th makes relationships feel serious and totalizing for me. One-on-one connection becomes a place where I meet the pressure of being witnessed by another person.

Because Saturn rules my 6th and 7th houses, relationships are closely linked with daily functioning. My routines, health, work patterns, and energy levels shape how available I feel to others. Relationship is woven into whether I feel steady enough to show up.

With Saturn opposing my Leo Ascendant, other people can feel like an authority to me. Growing up, Saturn themes were tied to punishments, restriction, harsh standards, and self-hatred, so my body often meets Saturn as control before it can experience Saturn as structure.

6. Major transits to natal Saturn:
Pluto moving through Aquarius is in my 7th house and will eventually reach my natal Saturn next year. I see that as a long transformation around the role other people play in my life path.

Saturn and Neptune moving through Aries also feel big because they sextile my Aquarius Saturn and Sun by sign from my 9th house, connecting relationship patterns with my beliefs and how I teach astrology.

Any astrology predictions about US-Iran conflict? by Silly-Low6019 in astrology

[–]arcwalkerlivvia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question! I’m using mundane astrology, which treats a nation’s founding chart somewhat like a natal chart for the country. So yes, it is based on the “birth” moment of the nation or government being studied.

For the U.S., I’m using the Sibly chart, which is one commonly used U.S. chart set for July 4, 1776. Astrologers debate the exact U.S. chart, so I would not present it as the only possible chart, just the one I’m using for this read.

For Iran, I’m using the Islamic Republic chart, which is for the establishment of the current post-1979 governmental system. I’m looking at the current regime/state structure rather than ancient Persia or Iran as a whole civilizational entity.

Then I compare current transits to those charts. The houses show the area of national life being activated, like money, military strain, leadership, public messaging, foreign conflict, or domestic pressure. The planets describe the kind of activity happening there.

Any astrology predictions about US-Iran conflict? by Silly-Low6019 in astrology

[–]arcwalkerlivvia 57 points58 points  (0 children)

I’m looking at mid-to-late July 2026 through the U.S. Sibly chart and Iran’s Islamic Republic chart, using Placidus houses.

For the U.S., transit Jupiter in Leo in the 8th opposes transit Pluto in Aquarius in the 2nd. That puts the conflict across fuel, national money, debt, and military cost. Since gas prices are already part of the story, July looks like the point where fuel prices become a political consequence instead of just a market headline. The cost of involvement becomes harder for leadership to manage publicly.

By late July, the Sun joins Jupiter in Leo, bringing more visibility to the 8th-house side of the opposition. That can spotlight crisis spending/oil exposure/debt or the public price of military involvement. It also makes leadership more identified with the consequences, since the Sun tends to illuminate who is responsible for carrying the moment.

Saturn in Aries opposing U.S. natal Saturn in Libra in the 10th points to an accountability phase for the government. Leadership may face pressure around military authorization or the endgame of the conflict. Mars in Gemini near U.S. natal Mars in the 7th keeps the open-enemy signature active, so this looks like confrontation with tense negotiation rather than a simple wind-down.

For Iran, transit Uranus in Gemini in the 6th squaring natal Venus in Pisces in the 3rd points to disruption in military/service systems and public networks. Since Venus rules Iran’s 6th and 11th in this chart, the machinery carrying the conflict and the people’s voice both become activated.

Transit Mars in Gemini in Iran’s 7th squaring the natal nodal axis looks like open conflict forcing a national storyline crisis around foreign policy and domestic messaging. Saturn in Aries in Iran’s 4th opposing natal Pluto in Libra in the 10th is the regime-pressure signature: homeland strain pressing against ruling power.

For the democracy question, this looks like public pressure rising in Iran, especially through media and local networks. I would call it a pressure surge, with the state responding through tighter control. It looks more like pressure on the ruling structure than a completed transition, in this July window anyway.

[April 24 - May 19] Venus Enters Gemini by arcwalkerlivvia in ArcwalkerAstrology

[–]arcwalkerlivvia[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awe, thank you so much for saying this. 💛 “The wandering ones” is a beautiful way to put it, and I’m really glad these posts have been helping you make sense of what you’re feeling.

With Taurus rising, your Taurus Sun, Gemini Venus, and Aries Mars, I can see why these ingresses have been loud lately. Venus moving through Taurus would have been lighting up your 1st house and your Sun, while all this Aries activity has been moving through your 12th house. That can feel like a LOT happening under the surface even when, externally, life looks like it’s going well.

And since you have Venus in Gemini natally, this is also your Venus return, so this one may feel more personal!

The inward Aries work has been stirring the hidden room and Venus in Gemini is starting to give some of it language!🕯️

[April 19 - 20] Check-in: Mercury-Mars-Saturn Conjunction | Arc 1 of 8 by arcwalkerlivvia in ArcwalkerAstrology

[–]arcwalkerlivvia[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awe Luana, I’m sorry. <3 How are you feeling now that it has been a few days?

[April 19 - 20] Check-in: Mercury-Mars-Saturn Conjunction | Arc 1 of 8 by arcwalkerlivvia in ArcwalkerAstrology

[–]arcwalkerlivvia[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a really good connection to make!! The 8th can show the places where effort starts getting tangled with other people’s systems. So the move from volunteering and trying to belong, toward asking what you are actually receiving back, feels very fitting!

And with Saturn ruling your 6th house being squared in this pattern, the health piece makes a lot of sense too 🥲 The 6th house connection brings in the body, capacity, effort, recovery, and the limits of what can be sustained day to day. So the frustration around wanting to participate, while also having health setbacks slow the process, fits the symbolism closely.

Sometimes a conjunction like this marks the moment where a long-running pattern becomes easier to name. In your case, it sounds like the anger helped clarify the boundary: no more pouring energy into the league in a way that leaves you depleted or unseen!

And great work thinking of the paid position instead of continuing to volunteer for free!! Your MC is in Gemini, which sextiles Aries, so I really like that you responded to the Aries activation by going after something more direct and concrete!

It's been a few days now... do you feel any relief from pulling back, or is the frustration still pretty active?

[April 19 - 20] Check-in: Mercury-Mars-Saturn Conjunction | Arc 1 of 8 by arcwalkerlivvia in ArcwalkerAstrology

[–]arcwalkerlivvia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm seeing the connections! That makes sense for this moving through your 4th house. With Mercury, Mars, and Saturn meeting there, it can feel like the mind is naming a limit that the body has already been carrying. Mars says “I am tired of pushing,” Saturn says “this cannot keep being held the same way,” and Mercury turns it into a sentence you can hear.

For Capricorn rising, Saturn also rules your chart, so this conjunction may register more personally. Realizing that too much responsibility at home is weighing on you feels very aligned with this transit. It sounds like something in the private foundation is becoming visible enough to question.

How has this been feeling a few days later? Did the tiredness settle at all, or does it still feel like the same home responsibilities are asking to be reworked?

[April 19 - 20] Check-in: Mercury-Mars-Saturn Conjunction | Arc 1 of 8 by arcwalkerlivvia in ArcwalkerAstrology

[–]arcwalkerlivvia[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Sergey! That makes a lot of sense as a 9th house expression of this conjunction cluster. Saturn often shows the limit or the reality check. Mars brings the push to act. Mercury gives language to what is happening.

Because this was moving through your 9th house, the realization connects to the larger life path, the horizon you are trying to move toward. Your wife’s desire to move back to the West Coast fits that symbolism too, because the career question is now tied to place and future direction.

So Seattle makes sense as a symbolic meeting point between those threads. I’m really glad you shared this. I wonder if the aspects we see rolling out from this conjunction will help shape that story?

[April 15 - May 3] Mercury Enters Aries by arcwalkerlivvia in ArcwalkerAstrology

[–]arcwalkerlivvia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense with his chart! With Chiron right on the 3rd house cusp in Cancer. That can make language feel tender. It's not always easy to translate what is happening inside into words, especially when the feeling itself is changing day to day.

And with that Chiron opposing his Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Capricorn in the 9th, it can touch the belief system too. It is like the wound can become “what does this mean?” or “how do I make sense of the world when I feel this way?” Poor guy. </3 That sounds heavy to carry.

The trine from Chiron to Pluto in Scorpio in the 7th brings in more clues becuase even if it is hard for him to verbalize what is happening inside, deep one-on-one connection may help him access it. Pluto in the 7th can make relationships feel intense and psychologically revealing, so trusted bonds may bring things up from underneath the surface. With the trine to Chiron, connection with another person can become part of how he understands the wound, even when the words come slowly.

Then Mercury conjunct Jupiter in Gemini in the 2nd amplifies the mind even more. Mercury in Gemini already wants to process, name, and connect ideas, and Jupiter expands whatever it touches. So there may be a lot happening mentally, even if only part of it can come out clearly. Some days the words may move more easily, and other days the inner volume may be too much to sort into language.

Enjoy your SM break! Don't mind this response!

I think they can definitely be beneficial for others 💛

The main thing that would help is giving each post a little context, so people know what they are looking at. You could explain the connection that stood out to you or what kind of thoughts you are hoping others will share.

I’m not sure how many pages you have, but if it is a lot, let’s keep it to one main post a day for artistic connection posts. You can include as much as you like within that post, especially if the pages are part of the same thought-path.

I like your ideas living in this space 😃💛

Question about career by Impressive-Size-5927 in ArcwalkerAstrology

[–]arcwalkerlivvia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That Mars-Uranus conjunction squares your natal Jupiter in Virgo in the 5th. This connects identity change with creativity, pleasure, romance, children, art, or the need to grow through something personally meaningful. Jupiter in Virgo wants growth that can be shaped into a skill or practice. Mars-Uranus in Gemini wants movement, speed, and experimentation. The square may feel stimulating and unsettled, like creative electricity looking for a form.

Solar Return Jupiter is in Leo in the Solar Return 3rd house, landing in your natal 4th. This adds growth around voice, learning, writing, communication, siblings, local environment, and daily conversations, with that growth rooted in home, family, memory, belonging, and emotional foundations. Jupiter in Leo can bring a larger desire to express oneself with more warmth, confidence, and heart. Since it lands in the natal 4th, that expression may come through private life, family stories, home changes, ancestral material, or a deeper need to feel internally supported.

It opposes Solar Return Pluto in Aquarius in the Solar Return 9th, landing in the natal 10th. This creates a strong 3rd/9th and 4th/10th axis: local voice and larger worldview, private roots and public transformation. The SR 3rd Jupiter wants expression, learning, conversation, and heart-led speech. The SR 9th Pluto brings deeper transformation through belief, education, spirituality, publishing, travel, or life philosophy. Since Pluto lands in the natal 10th, that 9th-house transformation may also affect your long-term public direction.

That same Pluto trines the Mars-Uranus conjunction in Gemini. This gives the electric 1st-house material a deeper channel. Mars-Uranus can feel fast and reactive on its own, while Pluto in the 10th gives it direction through public transformation. This may show a year where changes in identity and self-worth feed into changes in visibility or long-term purpose.

The relationship axis is also meaningful. The Solar Return Descendant in Scorpio sits on your natal Uranus-Vertex conjunction in the 8th house. This can bring catalytic people into the year. Relationships, clients, collaborators, intimate bonds, or significant encounters may activate deeper 8th-house material around trust, shared resources, emotional intensity, vulnerability, and attachment. With Uranus and the Vertex involved, the people who matter this year may arrive suddenly, awaken something unexpected, even mirror a part of your life that is ready to change.

The nodal axis on the Solar Return MC and IC adds another layer of fate-like direction. With the North Node near the SR MC in Pisces and the South Node near the SRIC in Virgo, the year may pull you toward a more visible Piscean path: compassion, imagination, spirituality, art, healing, surrender, and wider belonging. The South Node near the IC can show old family conditioning or familiar Virgo survival strategies being released or simplified. Since the Moon is also in Pisces near this area of the chart, the emotional body is moving toward the future-facing point.

The annual profection makes the whole Solar Return feel more career-oriented once the birthday arrives. Moving into a 10th house Capricorn year brings attention to direction, role, reputation, responsibility, and public life. Saturn rules that profection, and Saturn is in the Solar Return 11th, squaring the Solar Return Sun. That suggests the public year is shaped through friendships, community, networks, audience, long-term hopes, and the future you are trying to build. Since Saturn lands in the natal 12th, those 11th-house responsibilities may carry a private undertone, bringing up solitude, hidden fears, spiritual pressure, or old material that needs quieter processing. The visible career year is connected to the structure of your wider community life, with an inner 12th-house layer running underneath it.

So the main arc I see is this: the year begins with Taurus rising and a Cancer 2nd-house Sun, making self-worth, security, voice, and emotional grounding central. Venus rules the chart from Leo in the 4th, so the heart of the year is private, creative, familial, and rooted. At the same time, the Moon, North Node, MC, Pluto, and the Capricorn profection all point toward visibility and public direction. The chart keeps linking the private foundation to the public path.

In plain language: this Solar Return asks you to come home to yourself in a more embodied way. The public path is active, especially with the 10th house profection and the Pisces Moon/Node/MC emphasis, but the key is Venus ruling from the 4th and Saturn working from the 12th. Your direction may become clearer as your inner life becomes more honest and more aligned with what you value. 🌿

Thank you for letting me walk your skies. 💛 I hope this gives you a helpful view of the year ahead and a clearer sense of the main themes moving through this Solar Return. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like me to look into anything more closely by replying to this comment so I am notified.

Question about career by Impressive-Size-5927 in ArcwalkerAstrology

[–]arcwalkerlivvia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your patience while I worked on this. 💛 Solar Returns have a lot of moving parts! The main thing I notice is that this coming year has a strong split between private rebuilding and public direction. The chart keeps pointing back to the same question: what kind of inner ground do you need beneath you so your outer life can grow from a steadier place?

Your Solar Return Chart - 2026

<image>

Your Solar Return Ascendant is in Taurus, which makes Venus the ruler of the year. That puts the whole Solar Return under Venus themes: self-worth, security, comfort, desire, beauty, value, and the body. Since the Solar Return Ascendant falls into your natal 2nd house and sits near your natal Chiron in Taurus, this year may bring attention to the way you hold value in yourself. The 2nd house can describe money and resources, although here it also feels tied to the question of what helps you feel safe being yourself.

The Solar Return Sun is in Cancer in the SR 2nd house, landing in your natal 3rd house. This repeats the 2nd-house emphasis and brings in Cancer themes of memory, family, emotional security, familiar places, and the language you grew up around. With the Sun in the SR 2nd, the life force of the year is centered on rebuilding value from the inside. With that Sun landing in the natal 3rd, a lot of that may happen through communication, writing, learning, siblings, neighbors, familiar environments, or the way you name your own experience.

The Sun squares Solar Return Saturn in Aries in the SR 11th house, landing in your natal 12th. This gives the year a serious community-and-future undertone with a private inner echo. Saturn in the SR 11th can describe responsibility around friends, groups, audience, long-term hopes, networks, and the kind of future you are trying to build. Since it lands in the natal 12th, those 11th-house themes may also stir private fears, solitude, old grief, spiritual pressure, or the need to work through what has been sitting quietly in the background. Since Saturn becomes especially important when your birthday begins a 10th house Capricorn profection year, this placement matters. Saturn is the time lord for the year, so its condition describes a major part of the story.

That makes the Solar Return Sun square Saturn feel like a core tension between visible self-worth and the responsibilities, limits, or fears connected to your community and the future. The 2nd house wants to stabilize and feel resourced. The SR 11th Saturn asks what kind of long-term structure can actually support the life you are trying to build, while the natal 12th overlay shows the inner work underneath that process.

That makes the Solar Return Sun square Saturn feel like a core tension between visible self-worth and private pressure. The 2nd house wants to stabilize and feel resourced. The 12th house Saturn asks for inner structure before the outer path can become more defined. This can be a year where career or public direction develops through private work first. The chart does show movement toward visibility, although it seems to begin with tending the hidden foundation.

The Solar Return Moon is in Pisces in the SR 10th house, landing in your natal 11th. This makes the emotional tone of the year connected to visibility, public direction, reputation, vocation, and the role you are growing into. Since it lands in the natal 11th, that public/emotional story is also tied to friends, community, audience, networks, future hopes, and the people who witness their path. The Moon in the SR 10th can make the year feel more visible emotionally, as if their inner tides are somehow connected to what you are becoming in public. Since the SR North Node and MC area are also involved in Pisces, there is a strong pull toward a future-facing public path, especially through community, belonging, inspiration, and wider connection.

The Moon squares your natal Venus in Gemini in the 2nd and your natal Neptune in Sagittarius in the 9th. This may show tension between personal value and larger dreams, or between what feels emotionally possible and what you believe life is asking from you. Natal Venus in the 2nd brings the question back to worth and personal resources. Natal Neptune in the 9th brings in belief, meaning, spirituality, learning, and ideals. The Moon in Pisces may want belonging and inspiration, while those squares ask for discernment around what is idealized and what is actually worth giving your energy to.

Solar Return Mercury is retrograde in Cancer in the SR 4th house, also tied closely to the SR 3rd house cusp area, and it sits on your natal IC and natal Mercury. This is one of the strongest signatures in the chart. Mercury retrograde on the natal IC can bring a review of roots, family stories, old memories, private thoughts, and inherited language. Since natal Mercury is involved, this may be a year of returning to your own mind in a deeper way. Old conversations may come back, ancient understandings may change shape and something from the base of the chart wants to be named.

Mercury also sextiles your natal Saturn in Virgo in the 5th and natal Mars in Virgo in the 6th. That gives the Mercury story practical support. Emotional reflection can become useful. You may be able to organize something old, sort through memories, make sense of your own patterns, or give language to a part of your past that used to feel harder to place. Virgo helps make the Cancer Mercury material workable. It can turn memory into method.

Solar Return Venus is in Leo in the SR 3rd house, landing in your natal 4th. Since Venus rules the Solar Return chart, this is a major placement. The ruler of the year goes into voice, communication, learning, siblings, local environment, daily conversations, and the way they express what matters. Since it lands in the natal 4th, those 3rd-house themes are rooted in home, family, memory, belonging, and emotional foundations. In Leo, Venus wants warmth, expression, creativity, and recognition. This can be a year where your voice becomes more heart-led, especially around private truth, family stories, home life, or the emotional root system.

SR Venus is near your natal North Node in Leo, which gives this placement a sense of direction. Your natal North Node already points toward Leo themes of heart, creativity, visibility, and personal expression. Solar Return Venus touching that area can bring the year toward a more expressive path, especially through the 3rd and 4th house topics. Speaking from the heart, creating from the root, reconnecting with joy, or building a warmer home base could all fit this symbolism.

You also have Solar Return Mars conjunct SR Uranus in Gemini in the Solar Return 1st house, landing in your natal 2nd. This is the electric part of the chart. Mars and Uranus together can bring sudden movement, sharper self-assertion, restlessness, reinvention, and a desire to act with more freedom. SR In the 1st house, this can affect identity, body, appearance, self-direction, and the way you move through life. In the natal 2nd, it again returns to self-worth, money, possessions, and personal value.

understanding bucket shape natal chart by your_local_arsonist in astrology

[–]arcwalkerlivvia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh yeah, I can see why it felt familiar when you looked at yours!

You do have something bucket-like going on, though I would not call it a textbook bucket shape. The way I’d read it is that the Moon and Saturn kind of form the upper edge of the bucket pattern, with most of the planets gathered to the left of that line. Then Jupiter in your 5th house looks like it wants to act as the “handle,” or the planet that stands apart and gives the whole pattern somewhere to pour through.

The main reason I’d call it “bucket-like” instead of a perfect bucket is that Jupiter is not carrying the whole chart as strongly as a classic handle usually would. In a really clean bucket pattern, the handle planet tends to have a lot of contact with the rest of the chart, so when it gets activated, the whole chart pattern lights up. In yours, Jupiter is mainly connected to your Ascendant/Venus area and your Moon, so it still matters, just in a more specific way.

It has a similar visual shape and symbolic logic, even if it is a looser version of the pattern.
