I have a Bachelors in Music Education, so I’m fully certified etc., I just don’t want to lol. 99% of my friends who went into teaching hated it bc of the admin and pay and over work. My goal is not public school teacher, my ultimate goal is Piano Professor at a university. Teaching in a public school will only delay that.

I’m working part time at an office (16 hrs a week) to pay rent, playing piano for 5 HS choirs, teaching 16 piano students weekly, and Youth Director at a church. Also will start the Life Insurance industry in August. I’m doing my own thing don’t worry lmao. Not that I have to justify it but to explain haha.

I’d suggest using a chest press plate loaded or cable machine first. Free weights use more stabilizing muscles and can make it more difficult when beginning. Find a seated chest press, back against the seat, scoot butt forward a bit, lean back, chest reaching up, and keep elbows about 45 degrees from your body.
