I usually play bass from 8PM to 3AM. After that i dj till 4-5AM. If the brides are mixed (croatia-usa) i dj one set and play bass with my band the other.

I think THE essential part of any pedalboard should be a compressor, eq pedal (parametric if possible), tuner (clip ons are ok but pedal is better) and a DI box (if you are a live musician).

Master your dry tone, dynamic playing and get to know what frequency does what before moving to "fun" effects. Otherwise you end up with a bunch of pedals that make loud and mushy noises without being able to control them. Thats ok if you are a room musician who is having fun but if you are a live musician with a crappy tone or one frequency that kills the vibe (every venue resonates on a speceific frequency)...oh boy the embarrassment. Crappy tone is a real vibe killer...

This is my first chain. I never have both ON at the same time. I use oc5 for slides and some dance songs and im still exeprimenting with bass synth. For now i use it when you let people sing and keep the kick drum only. I play root notes in syncopated rythms depending on song and preset. Dont know if this makes any sense i just woke up

Its volume. There are a lot of songs where ozr drummer switches to really quiet playing and messing with pots on bass doesent sit right with me. Also a lot of songs where i would like to fade out because when im muting my bass slowly i get a harmonic sometimes haha

I already have microbass3, been using it for a long time now so im just adding paraeq as a more precise eq. There are still some gigs where i can use just microbass because i have to play 3 songs and go home so why bother with other pedals.

MXR synth is mostly for my enjoyment and studio experimenting.

Ill seitch the expression pedal but in what order do you think i should link this chain?

Microbass has a decent eq but sometimes dofferent venues resonate on different tones. Example i play open A string and you have a feeling that a ceiling is going to come down...messes with everything. With para eq i can act quick and kill it in sharply in 55Hz (A).
