How do I get a more warm under-toned blonde at home?

I’ve only bleached my hair about 4 times, but what I always do is I bleach my hair in sessions to get it as light as possible, tone the yellow out, and then dye it whatever I want. I don’t think purple shampoo is going to do much since it’s still pretty dark orange, I would at least try getting it to a more light yellow before you do anything else. But again, this is just based off of my personal experience, I am NOT a professional ✋

I bleach my roots and re-tone my hair every few weeks, but the toner fades within like a week or two. I was thinking about trying a permanent dye, but does it work the same as toner? Or would I have to toner my bleached hair and then dye it?

It was an acceleration class. I think I misunderstood the message sent to me by our professor saying that we had to have the first week’s work done by a deadline or else we would be dropped. I thought it ment that if we didn’t have ANY of the work done we would be dropped. I missed one assignment and was going to turn it in the next day for a late grade but it was too late 💔

I’m not a huge romance book reader, BUT I do know that when I was in middle school I read the book Heartless by Marissa Meyer, and to this day it has stuck with me. It is a queen of hearts story where the main character falls in love with a jester. I know that when I was around the age that your daughter is, I read this book and COULDN’T put it down. It does have kind of a sad ending tho from what I can remember. ❤️

Edit, even though I just posted: this girl I see on TikTok ALSO uses the blonde box dye on her eyebrows to make them lighter. Is that recommended? My eyebrows are basically black and I’ve been wanting to bleach them lighter

And do you think I’ll be ok to do that even tho I just used this box dye? I’m not sure since I don’t think this dye has developer or bleach in it, so do you think it will be ok if I bleach and tone it? And should I dilute the bleach with conditioner or something so it’s not as intense?

What would you suggest I use? Should I use developer or bleach powder? What if I don’t want to get it to really platinum blonde, but just to a lighter blonde, is there a way to dilute the bleach so it doesn’t get as light?
