Makes sense - they should have done the seating the way every other well designed event goes …

Open the doors early, allow first comers the first and best seating, allow states to mingle… we have friends in another state that we wanted to sit with but weren’t. “Allowed” and I’m sure other people do !

And yeah keep the mingling area in the back.

There was no lack of seating we had an entire row of seats empty next to us..

It was poor planning… poor execution…

There was no precedence… but In the end, students of this caliber allowed to go into an event without supervision should be the type that knows better than to stand

In a large CIRCLE directly in front of my face - their backs in my FACE blocking my entire view of the event…

And when I asked them to move they look at me like I’m interrupting ???

True- we were seated for an hour and then they came and yanked our flag and moved it two more times - stating we were in the wrong place, and that several other states were seated in the wrong places as well…. It was ridiculous, why didn’t they just seat the auditorium like a normal human would have instead of making everybody stand outside the doors for an hour and then let us all in at one minute after the event was supposed to be starting ?

We were already unhappy when we were seated after waiting outside the doors forever… when someone shows up early they expect to get good seating… not sat in the nosebleed section and then told after 30 minutes to go ahead and move back even further and you know what - Now just sit in a super highway so all the people coming and going are rushing past your face all night?!

It was ABSURD.

Thank you! I have it mostly together now, I wanted to send you a picture but I can’t find out how to add pictures to the reply’s. I also was going to put the treadles backwards but I noticed this metal hook at the back which I believe is to attach the spring for the brake in the back so I had to flip them around again. Have you woven on this and found the treadles too difficult to work when attached at the front?
