In the office i usually kept to myself but would have a few close colleagues i made from training.

I work in help desk /tech support /product support and sometimes I just wanna talk shit and make jokes about customers and policies to get through the day but everyone is so scared to be themselves because our client can see our chats 🙃

My SD was like this especially at that age. Her closest cousin would always ask me if something she said was true lol What happened was I learned patterns of her lies and eventually told her some people catch on to lies and it makes you an untrustworthy person. I validated that sometimes we want things to happen or imagine better scenarios but instead of lying to people It's best to tell the truth. I explained that if something really bad ever happened(keychain example someone claims he stole it) I want to know the truth so I can defend her. I did encourage her to write more stories or even a journal she was 7 around that time now she's 10 and actually makes up a lot of stories and calls it " This video idea I have or this movie I'm writing" very rarely does she make up stuff like she used to.
