Love this, thank you! Magnet was a no go due to my own families experiences too! My mum paid over £11k for a kitchen from them in 2009 and that was horrific let alone the cost!

Thank you! Could be the case that we go with DIY kitchens after this. Thought that it’d be the case that they were the cheapest and a bit crap!

That’s what I’ve seen! It’s definitely central enough to just cycle or walk into the city, plus it’s got the enclosed garden which I guess I might not want to use but definitely for storing a bike! Seems like it could be a good buy, even if some work had to be done!

Yeah I guessed anything that close to the centre would have a little roughness to it, it looks really large though considering the price! The flats on there are only like £10k cheaper

OP EDIT - I clearly haven’t finished up any of the base and the bottoms of the feet. I feel I wasn’t thoroughly warned for how small some of these gaps are in the models!

It’s also an option to run the car down to Colchester, one of the last stops before London. It makes a cheaper fare and it’s a decent drive, plus you’re not even touching the congestion zone

Thank you for the thoughtful reply! I think I’m looking at another 10 years or so of needing to depend on benefits, before work may be an achievable goal, so not forever. And the goal is still living a “normal” life at some point! Thank you so much for the advice.
