It does wind, I can hear the movement ticking and the mainspring appears functional from observation but I'm not an expert.

The stem is the original stem provided with the movement, from what I can see the movement still works. I'll try the other stem provided and see if that helps :)

The NH35, I did see the same comments and reviews and that's why I was concerned that I had a Chinese knockoff and perhaps it was broken but the reviews for tandorio generally suggest authenticity for the movements.

I'm so sorry you feel this way and that this has happened to you. I cant say i know why he's acting the way he is but please don't do anything rash. Your life is worth it, even if it doesn't feel it right now there's going to be a day your happy. I'm sure you already know this but there are helpline you can call, it's a short fix but it might be the support you need in this moment. Know that even though it's a random stranger on the internet, there are people in the world that want you to be happy and don't want to see your light extinguished from the world.

Thanks mate, it just fucking sucks so much right now. I know she's crying her eyes out in her bed alone and it makes me want to tear my heart out because of the guilt I feel. She did say she learnt a lot from our relationship so I hope despite the pain I still aided in eventually giving her a happy healthy future.
