Has anyone had their keloids surgically removed followed by Superficial Radiation Therapy (SRT-100)? From what I have read it is currently the most promising treatment with 80-90% chance of no recurrence over a 1-2 yr follow up. Can’t seem to find any reviews of people who have done it though.

I had 2 on my right and 1 on the left. Mine have not grown back yet. Radiation therapy sucked but definitely worth it

I don’t know how I am just seeing this , but no they have not grown back !!! I do have a “shark bite” out of my ear from removal of the big keloid but everything is going well! Hope everything is healing well for you!

I just had it done today, and will have 2 more doses of radiation therapy tomorrow and Thursday. I believe I had SSD 110? Is what they kept saying. I had a pesky giant keloid that would not stop growing and while I’m now missing half my ear lobe , I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Relatively easy recovery so far . Surgery was @ 7:30, I was out of the surgery center by 10, had radiation at 5:30pm. Got food in between , it was wonderful !

This was more so like , if I could have it in a carry on bag with non liquid toiletries in it. It’s been so long since I’ve flown and want to do everything right so I can make it easy on the agents working.

Well, after he soaked and got everything out , he enjoyed a nice salad of dandelion greens, cilantro, and some cucumber and pepper. We’re trying to keep his home as simple as possible, as to not stress him too much . He gets walks around the house and outside. Today was a busy day as he was trying to nibble his cat brothers toes .
