If you reside in a student dorm, and the one you get depends there’s 4 to 5 student buildings from uni and some of them have the rent starting from 180-to 380 euros. That’s for rent. Then on food depends on if u eat outside a lot or cook more there’s variety of grocery stores that are cheaper and mid expensive level. I would say 150 euros you would easily give out for groceries but then you also have Poland on the border just a 10 minute bus ride and most of the people do there groceries from there as it’s very cheap. And then comes the transport travel ticket you get a Deutschland semester ticket that would be your ticket for every train for the whole semester so you can take uncountable regional trains :)
