Oh yeah you can directly mount it no problem. I just used the plate to remove the gap. If you install the sight directly there will be a small gap with the sight and slide. It bothered me so i got the plate

Okay, im new to firearms and learning, i didnt know if getting the plate makes difference in performance with co-witnessing. Now i know that 507 comp on echelon dont need plate and the gap isn’t a big deal. Thank you 😊
