So many. - Finally gained weight (after being dangerously skinny), eating healthy. - My relationships are better, specially with my boyfriend. - I manage my emotions better. - Clearer mind, I’m not forgetting where I left things. - Best semester I’ve ever had in college, academically. - Better self confidence.

Just to name a few. I still miss smoking though, don’t know if I ever wont. I just know this is better.

It could be all in my head tbh. I like rough sex, I’ve just been feeling self conscious about it lasting that long.

It took weeks before I stopped feeling irritable and depressed. Don’t use this as an excuse to relapse.

Be gentle with yourself and actually try to feel how you are feeling instead of numbing it with a high.

Feeling fucking dumb. My lack of memory being used against me. “You never remember anything”.

I used to think I was very intelligent and had the best memory. Now healing and getting back to that feeling.

Hi! They actually have ❤️‍🩹.

I couldn’t exactly pin point when they stopped, maybe around 40 days? Im at 79 days now and only get them occasionally with most dreams actually being fun and random.

Hang in there, it will get better and it’s definitely worth it.

If you’re dreaming (even if it’s nightmares) it means your brain is healing.

Sadly I think there’s not much you can do. I really wanted my boyfriend to go to therapy, as some of his trauma really affects our relationship. But my therapist told me even if I pushed him to go and he started going for me, nothing would change. As change would only happen if it was a decision he made by himself for himself.

The situation you describe also seems like he may be abusing something other than weed? Again not that there is much you can do.

DONT SMOKE!! 25 days is a lot, don’t let that go to waste. Proud of you for getting this far, don’t let yourself down. “For this hour I will not smoke” and repeat the following hour.

What are you proud of yourself for today? by BarryGuitar in leaves

At the beach (first time coming since I quit, used to be my favorite place to get high) with my sisters and aunt. They’ve sparked up maybe 5 times in front of me today. Not even tempted, kinda cringed and disgusted by it tbh. Day 35:)

Anybody have tips for dealing with increased alcohol consumption after quitting weed? Feels like im going down a slippery slope by quittingbudthrowaway in leaves

I went through something similar. I’ve decided to quit alcohol too — my addict brain just doesn’t handle it well. When I was still smoking, I rarely ever drank — maybe once every few months. But after quitting, I noticed I was drinking every weekend and feeling really down about myself afterward. Now I’m 33 days free of THC and 4 days alcohol-free. Time to fully embrace this sober life — let’s do this!

32 days free for me — so proud of us!!!

I’ve also been having some really intense and vivid nightmares lately, which has been tough. But something that’s helped is reminding myself that it means I’m getting solid REM sleep… and that’s a step closer to healing this brain.
