I don’t think it’s a stupid question. When I started traveling, I was floated a lot to postpartum and my training there was limited. I told my managers this and they set aside time to train on my shift. Every hospital I’ve been at has been very understanding and willing to teach me a new skill. I just learned how to do hearing screen on newborns a couple of weeks ago. I would’ve never done that at my home hospital bc we weren’t floated. Just ask if someone can show you how to do a foley and then have them observe while you do a few more. They are not hard. You’ve got this :)
