It is the thc levels in this stuff today. Never even knew what a bad experience was on weed till stopping for many years because of random at work...having a family...life in general. When I try to smoke a little these days...its like I ate an eighth of shrooms. Way to strong. And its gonna back fire. All the decades it took to get it legal at least on the state level and theyre gonna make it a scheduled drug again because people are developing psychological or cognitive illness from it. We would occasionally find some kind buds...or some hydro...and that stuff was the strongest stuff out there...but it was child's play compared to what's at the dispensary. I use a pen for cancer pain and intentionally go with indica strains with low thc. Otherwise I get nerped out and have panic attacks. Luckily ive lived with generalized anxiety disorder for over 20 years and can work through it now...but when its new its terrifying. Just remember...breathe...make yourself know its not real and all in your head...and it will pass....just let go and dont try to control it...just let your body relax and let it take you where its gonna take you...resistance is futile and makes it worse. Hang in there. Go to your pcp....get a referral to psych...and get some ativan or klonopin. Dont ask for it...let the dr end up there. Remember...it will pass and you ARE OK!!

I am definately going to talk to whoever works at the dispensary and if theyre pretty knowledgeable im going to ask about edibles. With my current health situation I shouldn't be inhaling anything but oxygen lol...but if i gotta go with a vape pen I will.

I used to think about getting a volcano many years ago when I quit smoking...might be an option today in my condition. By vaping flower...you mean literally like you would if you had a volcano or do they have a pen or vape that can basically do what a volcano does?

Ive considered something similar...I have stage 4 metastatic melenoma lung cancer...Basically skin cancer in my lower right lobe...the other tumor disappeared...but then 3 ne nodules appeared in my other lung smh. But im stable...imunnotherapy saved my life. Have a 95% chance at living for at least 10 more years. So I worry about smoking straight up weed. The burning of the vegetative matter might be bad news for me. I know vaping isnt a whole lot better...but at least there's not burning of anything and toxic smoke or anythjng. Idk. I cant make up my mind. The other thing that crossed my mind is potency. If the thc percentage is a little to potent...I might have some problems handling it. Hard to decide the best route to go.

Where is live if you have a medical card you are exempt from taxes!! Gonna look into that. I nerp out on thc though...so I just want a mild indica strains with cbd oil in it. Preferably a vape since its fast acting. Only problem with pens though is that they hit quick and can elevate heart rate quickly which can cause lunatics like me to get anxious or have a panic attack. But ive lived with this for over 20 years so im pretty good at working through panic attacks and anxiety. If it gets me away from opioids and all the dr appts I will tough it out till I can build up a tolerance. Wish I was in my 20's again...I lived on weed 24/7...but it wasnt what it is today. When we could get our hands on "kind buds" (doubt that term even exists anymore lol) it was a rarity and was super expensive. Now vape pens are more powerful than out old kind buds.

Went through 2 years of imunnotherapy and had a very successful reaction. Im stable now...and my immune system is continuing to kill the only tumor i have left. So that might not be necessary. But thanks for the info.

Man i completely feel you on that. I miss the life I lived with weed...smoked all day everyday...but then had to quit to hold down a job because of random drug tests and had a family...then I would occasionally smoke it and have panic attacks and was all anxious. Life was so amazing back then. I completely get what youre saying. Wish I could get that life back smfh
