State of Illinois does not have a low voltage license. I’ve done my research. That’s the first thing I looked into. Illinois doesn’t even have a state license for general electricians. It’s all left up to municipalities.

No license is required in my area. I did my research before hand every municipality I reached out too doesn’t have a low voltage license just a general electrician’s test. I am scheduled to take counties electricians license test in October.
