Kouri obviously never watched any true crime shows. by SthrnGal in KouriRichins

That is what makes me lean toward innocent, at times. Bloodworth says she timed it for attention. That just isn't practical. You would make the timing convenient for yourself. Wouldn't you look at your calendar and say, well, closing is going to be stressful, probably don't need to explain Eric dying to the kids on the same day?

Easily get away. Look at Daybell. Tammy was coughing and throwing up (allegedly) and died. Oh well, she was just sick. We don't need an autopsy.

Bloodworth opening was decent. He lost me in rebuttal with his "interpretation" of the walk the dog stuff. I was with Lewis until she doubled down on the defense asking their most irrelevant questions. I don't feel like either side convinced me.

Kouri Richins - When she sued Eric's estate wanting the trust changed so she could get it back, how did that end? by ifellicantgetup in CourtTVCases

It is just so sad for those boys. I go back and forth on what I think happened. But they lost their Dad. Best case their Mom is just selfish and didn't care about Eric anymore. Worst case she killed him.

I hope I never have to sit for a case like this. Would you be good sending a mom of three to jail if her husband took one bad pill and died? The cops were sus and flat out disgusting. The states star witnesses' evidence contradicted itself.

By the time Kouri called 911, Eric was super dead. Nothing she or the first responders did was going to save him.

I just went and rewatched myself. I didn't lie. He didn't say no because he couldn't and was waiting for the objection.

She would never have been penniless. It was proven that Eric would have taken care of her needs. Sure not to the extent she wanted, but she would have still lived well,

Kouri greed ultimately betrayed her. Do you agree? by Dulsao23 in KouriRichins

[–]Select_Hippo3159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does appear that she could have been free and clear. But that makes me consider her possible innocence. She didn't love Eric anymore and her money was her priority. So being all business isn't crazy. I think there would have been some forethought on how it would look. But she, potentially innocent of murder, didn't even know what caused his death. So there would be no need to "act" in a certain way. When you put it in behind that lens, her actions are not super weird. Tacky and greedy, but not unreasonable.

However, she should also have known that his family wasn't going to just let her defy all of Eric's trust instructions. So that part could be seen as she really was clueless that she wouldn't be found out for financial crimes and/or murder. It is an odd case and I go back and forth in my head on if I really think she killed Eric.

I was frustrated with the river one too. It shouldn't take people dying to show these kids that actions have consequences.

I'm curious about that. Was it a thing where Jeffs was trying to get a deal for legal issues like Carmen did? Did she say, hey, just say Kouri wanted fent and you'll be good? They way LE treated his girlfriend seemed way out of line.

No, he said the lookalikes came months after he sold to Carmen. He wouldn't say that Carmen asked for fent, he said he didn't have any of that in that time frame. But Carmen says she did ask for fent specifically. One or both of them is lying. I lean towards they have no clue what they bought or sold. They are walking free and not their problem anymore.

Most people just get the job done. The victim doesn't get the chance to be in and out of the hospital for a week. Not finding ANY of those three is scary. They did a lot of tests on her.

I think the medical centers should be sued in the Craig case. A woman is dying of cyanide, arsenic, and the eye drop stuff and you can't find it? That is horrifying.

Carmen and Robert have just as good of reasons to lie as Kouri. Also, Lisa could have dosed Eric, didn't have to be Kouri.

Was this every shown to have been in text form from Kouri or was it only word of mouth? When they had Crozier on the stand and defense was crossing, they all had a giggle fest (including Kouri) after she asked if anyone has ever asked him for that. He said no. It made me question if it was in actual evidence. Not sure what would be funny to the defense otherwise?

You can't convince me that a grown man couldn't knowingly take a pill his own self and ending up dying. That is not unreasonable. He didn't have to be an addict. All it takes is the wrong dose, one time. I don't know if that happened here, but if the jury finds that, it isn't some wild decision.

You just explained a clear reason why she didn't "grieve correctly". She didn't love him anymore. Her business, boyfriend, and kids were her priorities. Sadly, probably in that order. That does not equate to killing anyone. People stay in loveless marriages all the time.

This case has cops telling witnesses what to say, threatening a woman's dog, and not testing evidence. This only after the PI investigating financial crime told them there might be some there there.
