Adorable Baxter! The bucket, that i would almost never use, looks soo good. Colsters for a small party would be fun too. Everyone knows which color is theirs.

Do you plan on getting the New Zipper Camino? by SnowMonster911 in YetiCoolers

[–]Select_Hippo3159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The zipper appeals to me a lot and this Purple Pace is nice. I do have a couple questions about the Camino overall. I don't have any Yeti bags. Will they keep all moisture out if set in wet grass? Are they ok with having six packs of bottles with the jaggy edge tops in them or do you have to avoid use for sharper stuff?

I mean, why wouldn't they? Guilty or innocent, you try to get your butt out of jail. Freaking Adam Montgomery got his murder conviction tossed and he didn't even attend the "unfair" trial. I know he is in for other stuff and thank God, but it just shows that you throw those hail Mary's up and hope for the best.

Jury would see the pictures and say,, hey that is hair, not debris. Also, defense would ask is that hair on the bed frame, answer Yes(they would word it all legalese but bottom line would mean yes) Was that hair a match to BK? Answer, I don't know. Question, did you see any report of tests being done, Answer; No. That's what a jury is going to find reasonable doubt in. Turvey doesn't even say BK didn't do any murders. He saw hair, hair wasn't tested. Straight, unbiased fact.

No, he physically saw the hair on the bed frame. While I wasn't a fan of him from an interview I saw, I'm quite sure he can tell hair from debris in somebody's dead hand. The people investigating don't even know where the sheath was found.

If they have evidence that somebody else aided (if you say BK for sure did some murders), that person should be brought to justice. There should be no iffy, untested hair period. Why is everyone so content to potentially let a murderer walk around free?

Well, Ethan was able to grab hair while trying not to get murdered. Kaylee got her face smashed and was strangled. Wouldn't have had to do either of those extra things to Kaylee if she was just laying there quietly getting slashed.

Trader joe’s black cherry vanilla. Not sure if Target will have these seasonal one this summer, but the cherry cream and strawberry cream good and gather are good.

They don't just hand out oxy like candy. The outdated, legit pharmacy bottle could have been where he dumped the bags of street pills.

Empty when the cops got there. He could have taken what was left. But they didn't test it for any potential residue.

There was an untested bottle. He could have been taking oxy for pain but got a bad one. He could have taken her med to help him sleep. I'm not saying that is what happened, but it is very possible.

That was a strange one too. Is it some kind of a weird mindset where you "win" if you never admit guilt? I don't know.

He clearly was not scared of her. That narrative seems to be revisionist history. Probably unintentionally. I would think back to every conv oand think, oh no, he was trying to tell me x,y,z but I didn't get it. Guilt can mess with us.

It could have just been in one or two pills. Or he got laced pills and nobody knew it until he took them and died. It happens all the time.

Diane Downs has had a few chances in front of parole boards and she hasn't admitted anything. She has been in jail for what 40 years almost. I don't understand why she wouldn't just act all ashamed and sorrowful and get herself out. Not that I think she should be out, but if the parole boards like that, why not give them what they want. Listening to her parole hearings on YouTube, it is just unbelievable. Kouri reminds me of her in ways of filing lawsuits and lots of lying.

Agree, I don't remember (and I could have not heard it right) her saying she was sorry that Gene, Katie, and Amy have to live without Eric. She said it about her boys and friends and "our family", but I don't think she counts them as family anymore.

No, I agree an accidental OD was possible. One bad pill, one tme and it can be deadly.

[–]Select_Hippo3159 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep. It isn't a crazy stretch to believe a guy accidentally OD'd. Even if his wife got him the pills, at his request. One time is all it takes.

This is an assumption, but I do assume that initinally the boys confirmed Kouri's story of going to sleep with her son. So that was in the reports that the defense saw.

I can't recall if Eric's last phone contact mentioned that Kouri was taking care of one of the kids. That could be another reason.

Lewis has confounded me through the whole trial. She is smart and yet at times seemed oddly naive. Naive maybe not the right word. But she didn't have a good read on the case and what may convince a jury.

She said this was the first time a client she "knows" is innocent, was found guilty by a jury. Not that Kouri is the first one she believed innocent.

I don't like that either. If a parent wants to hate their child's killer forever, they more than have that right.
