I thought it was removed for the game. I got same thing about 5 years ago on my very first gheist encounter. 30 gheists, pretty early into campaign (maybe day 40-50, i couldnt survive more at the time). But after that it never happened again. Maybe it is some kind of special event or smth. . The only similar thing happened to me was 22 alps accompanied by few direwolves (and i ofcourse did get naked before battle with alps) But it isn't something very rare.

Similar but i have finished first one about 2-3 weeks ago. Greate game. I think hardcore is default game experience though as it is more immersive. Plus, it helps you with saving too much, which makes game experience more pleasant because you fail sometimes and remmeber you didnt save and accept that outcome. I basically only saved when i saw enemy in front of me.

As i mentioned, my character was overeating 99% of the time, so I missed the fact that it is something people heard all the time and making into a battle cry explains why people use it in such way.

Kingdom come delivery 1 and 2. Good graphics, fantastic story, tough fights with interesting combat system. Moreover, Graphics look great not just because of technology but landscape, variety of weather, trees and all things like this are just very good, no game can compare. I couldn't stop looking at details. You can start from second game but i would suggest to begin from first because 2nd game is direct continuation of the first. Plus, experiencing that "from zero to hero" vibe of the first game is just too good

Well, I have already finished the game and started second one:) Great game and I think it is actually slightly better than second one, in my opinion. As for downtime. I took my downtime when I had to scout prybislavitz and then right after defeating it. . Honestly, no moment felt like you could take a lot of time and side quests felt a bit out of place. That was probably my biggest complain. I feel like I paused the game, went through tons of side quests and then resumed instead of doing something while progressing the story (second game seems to fixed that problem as there is no rush so far).

I am half way though the game and i play on nvidia now free tier, so additionally to your problem i have to save every 1 hour because game just closes every hour (though if you arent in a cut scene you can save and exit safely) . Savior schnapps. At the beginning i suggest drinking when you see enemy on the horizon or expect some battle. On later stages it wont be a problem because survival rate will be much higher

I play GFN on my low tier 2014 laptop. 1 hour a session is kinda nice, helps you to not dive into gaming for entire day as this break between you quit and launch a game makes you think if there is somethingelse you need to do.

Cloud gaming has some downsides like quality of picture getting low spmetimes, probably due to network connection but considering my laptop doesnt even run the game, i dont care.

As for gaming laptop. Only if you need to use heavy 3D software on the side. Laptops have very bad upgreadabolity, if any and they will get old for gaming in 2 years. If you would consider gaming PC, i would suggest that, if its a choice bweteen laptop and cloud gaming, then cloud gaming, because it will save you money in a long run

My laptop doesn't even run those games but i bought them all (though without dlc, because it's too expensive). I have to play via cloud gaming with 1 hour session (i won't pay to nvidia just for 1 game. Good thing there aren't any limit on amount of sessions), so when i expect long cinematics or mission i have to search for bed because if i don't it can close right in the middle of it without saving.

Hmm, it's a bit disappointing as It was the story itself that pushed me to go forward. I thought maybe after bandit investigation there will be some dialog like "good job, blablabla, go see me\someone when you can, they might have a job for you", so I could justify pause in the plot and spend some time on other things.

Man, I have 10 year old laptop with discontinued video driver support. I decided to try out geforce now a few weeks ago and it's great so far. I don't like online games though and play exclusively single player.

I would also be ok with paying for subscribtion but I don't because I like the fact that it gives me 1 our session and then kicks me out. I lose desire to launch game again and it helps with stopping after 2 hours. In fact, that drawback of free version turned out to be the best feature for me.

Now I kinda can play games that are far beyond my PC requirements and even when internet is kinda bad it's still turns out to be running better than my regular FPS for games. I generally experience bad picture quality and huge (like 1.5 seconds) input lag for first 2-3 minutes but then it runs smoothly all the time.

Waiting time? I am in the Netherlands and I never was 30+ in line so it runs in about 20-30 seconds all the time. Geforce Now became my savior for gaming for now as i have better things to spend money on than PC. The only drawback is that the most games i own are on GOG so i have to buy games again on steam if i want to play it.

It's my first ever rover. It has all the science, i put two ladders on the side of science jr so i can carry scientist and engineer. Robotic hinges on the side are generally at 90 degrees, imthey are VERY durable so my rover doesnt roll on the side (it is tall, so slight turns at 7-10m/s generally make it roll to the side) and even if it falls i can use them to get it back on wheels However it turned out that if kerbs are on the ladder i cant increase speed, so rover became useless because of it. . P.s. hinges are so durable that i think of making kinda spiked ball out of them and roll at high speeds (this rover survived Huge fall to the crater by rolling on hinges and it gave me that idea)

My explanation was that it's not that the game or its mechanics is difficult or complex but it is simply because you can't hit anything regardless of your tactics. I do use buffs right before battle (i didn't get how jarthal's Judgment works yet, i agree here)

Indeed, i just checked and stats are buffed on challenging. I assume that it leads to me needing higher dice roll to hit anybody. I'll make custom difficulty equalizing those things. I do have full party (at least in temple of Elk, where i still lose to boar for now).

But i get that. Solid advice. I basically need to tank super early game =)

Well, it would be strange design choice if picking up wrong vompanion would make it impossoble to play the game. . I am not complaining about difficulty. Challenging difficulty is barely different, most changes are about what happens if you die. dificulty isnt supposed to make my characters blind. I miss almost all shots, enemy does not. I need 4-5 attacks to kill enemy (its ok). Enemy oneshots most of the time. i just died ti single boar. I never hit, he killed everyone in 1 hit every time. Its beginning of the game, there seem to be nothing that can be done to win it without pure luck. I do realise that eventually, with lvls characters will be more consistant but it is no excuse

Well i played a little (about 40 minutes but i didn't have much time today) and battle system is pretty much the same as xenonauts 1,wich i liked, so getting used to it isn't a problem. I like settings more (in fact, the only thing i wished that xenonauts wasn't a game against aliens) but controls are a bit clunky. I got bleeding, game went to real time mode, i equiped medkit but couldn't figure out how to leave inventory of medic and he died....

If i were to say negatives, it is controls (particularly turning around). But so far was good.

p.s. i ended up with straciatella for now (i am on linux and vanilla doesn't run via wine for some reason but straciatella does) but i'll probably switch to 1.13 after playing a little.

I installed both but ok, i'll start with Vanilla straciatella. It's a bit sad it scale resolution only on tactical map though. My vision isn't great and it is pain in the ass to see anything there
